Baby Products Reviews of Especially for Baby Wipe Warmer with bonus Diaper OrganizerCustomer Review: Great idea....not so great product Summary: 2 Stars
First, let me share THE SECRET TO STOPPING THE BROWN WIPES!...when you have used about 3/4 of the wipes, go for a refill and take the ones on the bottom and out, put the new ones in and put the others on top. Takes two seconds and because you don't let them go all the way down to the bottom before refilling they don't dry out. Wipes dry out becuase there are not enough in the container to maintain the moisture.
Second...BUY A DIFFERENT WARMER! The organizer does not hold diapers past a size 1 without a cramming struggle to get them in and zip. The warmer just stopped working for no reason. The hooks are not that versitile and are awkward.
I suggest buying a plastic organizer with the tray for the warmer on top (make sure it's big enough for a warmer and not just a tub of wipes!!).
Customer Review: Works to Warm, Disappointed w/ rubber pieces & diaper holder Summary: 3 Stars
I bought this after I didnt get it for my shower. I love it for warming the wipes but holding the diapers is like the other reviews. My added complaints are that the zipper broke to after the 1st month :( Also the rubber holders arent attached to the metal brackets and they always fall off the brackets leaving the warmer to lean sideways and forward the warmer almost falls off! We still use the compartment for diapers. But I have to re-adjust the whole thing daily. I wish they had come up with a better design. Those rubber things are AWEFUL! Are they suppossed to protect the furniture? I am happy to have the wipes warm. But unhappy with the overall design. The "wipes" made by: |Especially for baby | are inexpensive and the BEST for this item and work getting the job done.
Customer Review: This is a wonderful item for your infant! Summary: 5 Stars
When I first brought my son home from the hospital, I didn't have a wipe warmer. It broke my heart when my son cried and shivered from using cold wipes. My husband and I decided to purchase this wipe warmer. We hooked it up on the corner of our changing table and began using it immediately. I have to say I LOVE this warmer. It warms the wipes so nicely and my son loves the warmth it provides. I did have a problem with it drying out the wipes a bit, but I added a small amount of water to the wipes and have solved that problem. I use the bottom storage area intended for diapers as a holder for extra wipes. Just note, the wipe warmer fits the "Huggies" brand wipes perfectly, but not the "Pampers" brand, as they are too large. I highly recommend it!
Customer Review: Worth every penny Summary: 4 Stars
My husband thought this was the silliest product on the market. Our parents never needed a warmer for wipes, so why would we? But as a first time mom, it broke my heart when my son cried from the cold feeling of the wipe against his skin. I finally convinced my husband that we should try the wipe warmer and now he can't imagine not using it. There are a couple of drawbacks such as the bottom 3 wipes turning brownish and the bottom few wipes drying out. Regardless of the drawbacks the wipe warmer is worth buying when the alternative it your child being woken up in the middle of the night by a cold wipe when you're changing his diaper. Mine will sleep right through his changing or just go right back to sleep without any crying or fussing after his changing.
Customer Review: Worthwhile gadget Summary: 3 Stars
In general terms I liked this item b/c cleaning a baby's bottom with cold humid wipies can't be pleasant (for baby)... I love the removable storage space (for diapers, brush, combs, creams) underneath the actual warmer. The one thing I disliked is that the wipies have a tendency to become dry (not usable) if the warmer is left on for days; you can avoid this by turning it off and on (it has a switch) but it takes about 2-3 hours for it to warm up again so this isn't very convinient. At first this didn't matter as I went through wipies like water; but after my daughter started to 'go' less it became a little problem. Once she turned 3 months I stopped using it as a wipies warmer and just use it as a wipies holder. My daughter is almost 4 months old.
