I went though 3 baby carriers and I love my Ergo best. My daughter is 9 months and we still use and love it. When you have a child nap time can prevent you from leaving the house, but having the Ergo allows my daughter to take naps when I am out doing errand or taking a walk. Another great feature is that it is comfortable. Other carriers hurt my shoulders, but with the Ergo the weight of the baby is distributed evenly throughout my body. Another great feature is the snap on hood. The hood protects the baby from the sun and gives the baby proper head support. Buy it and you will be satisfied. I never have time to write reviews but wanted to make sure I tell everyone about the horrible customer service I received from Ergo! I phoned the company to let them know my sleeping hood never worked properly and have seen newer ergo's with properly made hoods and that I wondered what they could do for me?? I suggested re-sewing or shortening the straps...they said there was nothing they could/would do for me but sell me a new one! I got this ergo for a gift and they wanted me to produce a reciept!! I really like my ergo though it has never worked properly. I am extremely dissapointed with this service but not surprised as it is a Hawaii based company. Really lacking is basic customer service!!Customer Review: Ought to be issued with every new born!

I have five different baby carriers and this is by far the best. It is the most comfortable and best liked by my son. Putting it on the first couple of times is slightly awkward, which is true of all the carriers so that shouldn't beheld against it. When my son is in this he is completely secure, it isn't like some of the other carriers where I feel a need to keep one hand on him. It is also the only carrier that he has easily fallen asleep in. Unlike some other carriers the weight is on your hips which is much healthier than having the weight on your back. With this carrier I can go on long walks, easily go through stores and even do chores around the house. I strongly recommend this carrier.Customer Review: The Best Baby Carrier

My daughter and I love the Ergo Baby Carrier. We tried a sling and the moby wrap and both of those options are fine (and are more affordable), but the Ergo Baby Carrier is worth every cent. It's comfortable on the carrier's body, easy to put on, easy to adjust and is compact when not in use. Oh, and easy to toss into the washing machine and dryer! I always make sure we have our Ergo Baby Carrier with us wherever we go, because our daughter takes the best naps when she's carried in it. :)
I also highly recommend purchasing the ERGObaby Sucking Pads becuase they will come in handy!

We just spent several months in Europe and we can't say enough about our Ergo Carrier. It made our travels so much easier. We were able to climb stairways in castles and visit museums, historical monuments and in many other places where strollers or metal framed carriers are not allowed. Our daughter loved it as well. It is very compact for packing and very easy to clean. I am a 5'2" mom and my daughter is 2 years. When I needed to put her on my back by myself, I would either use the bed or a flat place to lay her on and then lift her up on my back. I was able to walk for several hours with her and she often napped there as well. We would recommend this carrier to anyone heading overseas.
