I bought this fan because of its small footprint and from the reviews it had a decent output of air. I use it in the kitchen to blow a little cool air on me directly when preparing food or anywhere I want to tote it. The size is a little awkward to haul around in a purse, but then I use another battery operated fan for that. It gives off a great light show so I imagine the little kiddies would love it.
I did notice that it started to make noise so I put in on a tea towel and don't have the problem. There is a screw that has to be taken out to change the battery and although that is a nuisance I can see why they have it like that since it is intended for a child's stroller. Overall it is just the ticket for me.

I have had this fan for 2 months and it is just what I needed. I walk my 16 mo old daughter and 2 dogs everyday. While we try to beat the heat, as spring progresses into summer, that is impossible on most days. This fan is perfect. It clips right to her canopy (I use a graco quattro). I use rechargeable batteries to stay eco-friendly. I have not had to recharge the batteries yet. She seems to either like or ignore the LEDs. In the bright sun they are not an issue. She can tough the fan and it doesn't hurt her at all. She enjoys stopping it and checking it out as we fist start out in the morning. It is flexible so she always gets a breeze. It is great for festivals and picnics too.Customer Review: Petal broke but overall good product

My 14 month old son got a hold of one of the petals, pulled it and broke it (after less than a month). He likes putting his finger in it to make it stop, so I guess pulling it was the next step. So make sure you keep them away from it if they're strong enough. It has good power and obviously does not hurt their fingers if they mess with it. It could do without the little light in the middel but I'm sure you can take it out as it operates under a separate battery. We exchanged our fan through Amazon and it was the easiest and smoothest process. Had a new one in less than five days after printing the free return label on line.Customer Review: Just right

We bought this fan for our trip to Disney World in October. Our 4 month old Jake was kept surprisingly comfortable during the hot days. The fan provides a light breeze just right for a little fellow. We would sometimes cool him off with a cold washcloth then allow the fan to do the rest. The blades of the fan are foam so there is no way for his little fingers to get hurt should he try to grab at the fan. He had no problems with the lights like some of the other reviewers did.
This fan really saved us on our trip. Had we not bought it our days would have been short-changed from the heat.

The fan is great, powerful and safe for my childs fingers. Keeps him very cool in the stroller on those hot sweltering days. I wanted to give this product a 5-star review but the led lights are an ADD inducing nightmare. I don't understand their purpose at all as the fan will be but a foot from your childs face and to subject them to the hyper dizzying light show for hours on end seems abusive. You will have to take the fan apart to get to the two watch batteries that power the light show. Remove them and you'll have yourself a great little fan.
