Baby Products Reviews of Dreambaby Bath SeatCustomer Review: love it! Summary: 5 Stars
We bought this seat for our daughter when she was 6 months and at first, she did slide forward and her legs got red marks on them from the bar but by 7 months or so, she could sit in it very well without sliding forward and she loves it! We still use it everyday (she is almost 13 months) - it keeps her very safe and she can stretch and grab toys without sliding or falling in the water. She is chubbier and never gets marks on her legs, it fits her very well. I love how it folds away and stores so neatly. The only down side is getting it off the tub after a bath - the suction cups work a little too well sometimes. I love this seat and would highly recommend it!
Customer Review: Easy to Use Bath Seat Summary: 4 Stars
The thing that made me choose the seat was that it is compact so it will store easily. Also, I like that you can unhook the front to put the baby in and out of the seat. This is a great feature for washing them off easily as well. I have a very squirmy 9 month old and she does great in this seat. She fits in it well and is as happy as can be. Because it fold down, I have had one problem with the sides coming unhooked at the bottom from the base, but that was only when there was a lot of weight put on it by an older child. I just always check it before I put her in it to be sure it is all hooked together properly. I would recommend this seat.
Customer Review: Great compact seat that sticks really well Summary: 5 Stars
I was afraid that we'd have problems finding a seat that would stick to our tub since it is slightly textured, but this one sticks very well- almost too well! I also love that it folds up. We fold it and hang it on a hook in our small bathroom. I got this seat for my 6 month old so I could bathe him together with our two year old and it has worked out very well. Also, I don't think a seat like this is necessary for an older child, but it's very roomy, plus it opens in the front, so if you have a chunky baby this is a good choice. My 90th percentile son who's almost three fits in it well- he goes in it for fun after his baby brother is out :)
Customer Review: Just what we needed Summary: 4 Stars
My son is physically delayed in his development. He had outgrown his infant tub, but wasn't 100% stable when sitting up. We started using this when he was about 9 months and still use it now that he's 16 months. It fits into the large side of our kitchen sink. It also works great when bathing him in the tub with his older sister. Each suction cup has a tab on it. If you make sure you've rotated the tabs to the outside of the seat where you can easily grab them, they will gently break the suction so that the seat isn't stuck to the tub at the end of the bath. It took me a while to figure this out, thus the 4-star rating.
Customer Review: Useless. Period. Summary: 1 Stars
I bought this because I couldn't find something like the old circle shaped ring I had five years ago when my other son was a baby. So I bought this and its been nothing but a hassle. First off, it doesn't stick to my tub, and I think it's because I have a textured bathtub floor. I read the other reviews before I purchased it, and others said that the suction cups didn't stick. Well I should have listened to them. And also, it leaves marks on my baby's legs from the bar. It can't feel good. The toys on it are pretty much useless. So I hold him with one hand and wash with the other. Totally useless, in my opinion.
