Customer Review: Couldn't do bathtime without this!
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought this when my daughter was about 6 months old. She was getting too big for the tub that goes on a table and I wanted to start putting her in the big tub. But she would slip and slide all over the place when sitting there. I bought this even though she seemed a little big for it according to the specs and I am so glad I did! It is a nightmare anytime I have to give her a bath without it ( forgetting it while not at home ) . It keeps her safe and secure. It makes me feel totally comfortable that she not going to stand up and fall. She really wasn't all that interested in the toys on the front, but that's no big deal to me. For the price it was a great purchase. We've had it over 7 months and no problems at all. Would highly recommend this. I want to add my daughter was big for her age and is now 23 lbs and 15 months old. She isn't too big for this by a long shot! I can't find where, but I did read it was recommended for a certain age group but she is just fine in it and I feel she still has plenty more time to use it easily.

Customer Review: Great Product!
Summary: 4 Stars

I ordered the Dreambaby bath seat after comparing it to many other similar products on the market. I am extremely pleased with this purchase. My son is 9 months old and 22lbs. He was growing out of the toddler tub, however I was concerned about him slipping or falling in the bath tub. I thought this would be a great transition. I love that the front bar folds down so you can easily soap up your baby without anything in the way. The suction cups are also larger than I thought and the seat seems very secure. I am also very happy that it folds down relatively flat for easy storage. One of my friends purchased the Juvenile Solutions Thermobaby Bath Ring (blue seat) and is not as pleased with hers. She said it is difficult to get her baby in and out of and her daughter slips when seated in it. I would definitely recommend this bath seat.

Customer Review: Not for a chubby baby!!!
Summary: 1 Stars

Amazon reviewers have never steered me wrong with a baby product until this purchase!! I was excited to use this product with my very chubby 6 month old daughter who was outgrowing her infant bath tub. After its second use I discovered big red marks on her thighs from where the lap bar was cutting into them. Yes, she is chubbier than your average baby (~21 lbs) but I am really surprised that more people haven't have this problem. Also, after the 1st use one of the suction cups came off and I found the latches to remove the bar very difficult to open (although I would imagine you would get the hang of it with daily usage). While my daughter didn't seem uncomfortable we wont be using this again. It is unfortunate because she really seemed to enjoy being upright and was even playing with toys in the tub (a 1st for her).

Customer Review: Best bath seat out there, with some drawbacks
Summary: 4 Stars

We looked at a lot of bath seats when my 4 1/2 month old wanted to sit up more in his bath. We even borrowed one from a friend. This one is the only one we found that has the lap bar that folds down so you don't scrape your baby's legs when you lift them out. It's also great for traveling since it folds up. We actually use it in our kitchen sink now...will probably move to the bathtub when he starts splashing. There are only two drawbacks that I can see. The seat is a little slippery. For now we cut up our bath sponge that he hated, but I will probably be getting some of the non-skid pads to keep him in place better. Also, the toys on the front are really dumb. We used the cut up sponge to cover them for now so he doesn't scratch his chest up, but we're trying to figure out a way to remove them.

Customer Review: Good seat, but need to be able to sit up really well first
Summary: 3 Stars

First we had a baby fabric bath lounger seat which was awful and he kept sliding down constantly (killed my back), so we bought this back seat. When he was 6 months, he could almost sit up by himself, but still not quite sturdy enough, and when in the bath seat he would get so excited about the water that his legs would get caught in the holes. It was nerve wrecking for me! I was afraid he would get stuck and fall over, even though I was right in front of him the whole time. We had to wait another month, but now he's 7 months and can sit in it just fine! I would just warn parents to wait until baby can really sit well before you put them in the seat. Oh and the toys in front of it are useless. He has no interest in them. But that's okay. Other than that it's a good seat and I'm glad we bought it!
