I bought one set of these caps because I'd never tried them before. I am using DrBrown bottles again with my second child and thought I might need these caps. While they do fit nicely on the bottles, I don't know that there is enough difference between them and the Medela and Similac caps that I already had. I will continue to use them, but I will not be buying any more of them. Also, for those that might be curious, they DO NOT FIT OVER THE CENTER INSERT FOR THE BOTTLES. Part of the reason I bought a set to try was to see if they would fit over that center insert. This would have been ideal for prepping a bottle for travel, but no, they don't work that way. You end up with a capped bottle, a center insert, and a bottle top with nipple.Customer Review: Great Caps, Only ones that are perfect for DB's bottles

These travel caps are great, I usually fill up all of my son's bottles with filtered water at the beginning of the day and cap them, leaving the other assembled accessories next to them for a quick bottle prep. These are the only caps that will tightly seal the bottle, I've used the medela caps on those bottles and every single time I am mixing formula in the bottle they leak. These caps are made for the dr. brown's bottles so definitely get them, if you like to secure the bottles with liquid or make formula in them. This way you can ensure no leaks.

I recently used the cap with my Dr. Brown bottles when taking a four hour road trip with my 2 month old. No liquid spilled from the bottle when using the cap as opose to using the regular cap the bottles come with, which seems to leak all over me when mixing formula. Defenitly spill proof, or in my case leak proof. It's also great for storing breastmilk in the fridge since it's compatible with medela breast pump.Customer Review: Great for Medela and Gerber bottles!

These caps fit perfectly to the gerber bottles and the medela bottles that came with my pump. They also fit much more securely than the medela caps since the Brown caps are deeper, so when you tighten them, you know they're actually on the bottle securely. I can't give it five stars because I don't know if they can withstand me dropping filled bottles on them- I already cracked one medela cap..Customer Review: You need these

If you plan on traveling with a pre-made Dr. Brown's bottle, you need these. Without them, even with a cap, the bottle will leak! If you formula-feed and can make up the bottle any time, no need to purchase these. But if you pre-mix the bottles or feed breastmilk with a bottle, please buy this and save yourself an entire bottle of milk dumped in your diaper bag like we experienced,.
