Baby Products Reviews of Dr. Brown's Natural Flow Newborn Feeding SetCustomer Review: Not impressed Summary: 2 Stars
My daughter used Dr. Brown's Newborn Feeding Set for my grand daughter when she was born. I was not impressed with this product what so ever. My grand daughter suffered from gas and had ear aches. I wouldn't recommend this bottle for anyone who did not have a dishwaser. The inside component is a thin straw like devise. I was never content with the cleanliness of this straw since you couldn't even get water to flow through it, let alone a bottle brush. I used Playtex bottles and neither one of my children suffered from gas and ear problems as my grand daughter did. I wouldn't reccomend this product. My daughter is expecting another baby and these are not going to be the bottle of choice for the new child.
Customer Review: All great things come with a Price Summary: 4 Stars
Our Dr. recommened these bottles to us when my daughter was diagnosed with sever acid reflux plus a bad gas problem. the bottles worked like a miriacal on my babies gas problem and really helped in reducing the pain of the acid reflux! but, they are a bear to clean and they do leak. If you happen to leave a bottle sit on the counter while you go to the store there will be a puddle around it when you get back and this is with is standing up right. Our dishwasher ate the many parts the bottle comes with for breakfast so we had to keep buying replacement parts and the nipples degrade very fast. I know, I know, a whole lot of complaining and I still gave it 4 stars, It cured my in pain baby and gave us more sleep!
Customer Review: Switch to this bottle at 5months and she does so much better Summary: 5 Stars
We started her off on the the playtex natrual flow bottles and now that we switched to these, I wish we had them all along.
She is less fussy on them and alot less messy with them too.
We went up a stage on the nipple of the old platex bottle and she was so messy with it, it was almost too fast but the stage one were way to slow.
So we switched her to the Dr. Brown bottle becuase of rave reviews and she uses the stage two nipple and does great. She suffers from gas and constipation still and she seems to do a lot better with the new Dr. Brown bottle. And another plus she doesn't have milk all over her face while eating with the Dr. Brown like she did with the Playtex bottles.
Customer Review: I Love Dr. Brown !!!!! Summary: 5 Stars
After reading reviews of this product, the major complaints were the extra time needed to clean the bottles as well as bottle leakage. Avoiding colic and swallowing air were my main concerns, which this particular bottle claimed to do. I tried them and noticed that I did not hear any air going into my sons mouth during feeding (smile). It takes less than 5 seconds to wash the additional parts and as for leakage, ensure all parts are tight and in place, take your index finger (wash your hands prior to doing this) and press the nipple around the rim of holder to ensure a tight fit..no leaks. Spend the money it's worth it!! by the way I breast feed 90% of the time and these bottles are great.
Customer Review: Not very pleased with them! Summary: 2 Stars
When my second daughter was born she could not tolerate most of the fomula you can buy. When we (my husband and I) found a formula she would somehow tolerate, we also bought Dr. Brown bottles because of the gas she had. I was annoyed and frustrated preparing the formula. I could not shake the bottle (like I did with the Avent bottles) to mix watter with powder. I was losing up to an oz from each bottle. They were also leaking when I was warming up the formula. The 4 oz bottles, the 8oz bottles... they were all the same. Very very annoying. I would not but this brand again. I would try other. I have always liked the avent and now I wish to try them before I have wasted my money on Browns.
