I work in a daycare, and had only seen one parent use these bottles, but she recommended them so highly that I was sold. I honestly can't compare them to any other bottles, because I've never used anything else, nor will I. I'm going on to my second baby now, and he/she will use the same ones that his/her brother used. My son was never colicky (or so much as cried, for that matter), absolutely NEVER spit up (which impressed the teachers in his room at the daycare), and while he would be gassy on occasion, I attribute it just to a part of infancy, and certainly not to the bottles. The nipples do seem to have a bit of a large hole, but for my little piggy it was perfect. The only thing that I would say that isn't great about them is the cleaning process, because they have so many nooks and crannies. Defintiely not enough of a problem to have me try any other brand, though. I hope that more people realize what great bottles they are, and that they become more popular. They're a little more pricey, but defintiley worth it. I recommend them to new moms at my center, and to anyone who reads this review!Customer Review: Dr. Browns bottles are a lifesaver!

As a first time mom, I was shocked by all of the gas and digestion problems of my newborn. The doctors had no real answers for us and said she had colic. After many 17 hour stretches where my daughter would not sleep, and a couple of emergency room visits due to the amount of crying she was doing- we were simply told that she has colic. After a friend recommended Dr. Browns I tried them, and her gas problems disappeared! These bottles saved my husband, my daughter and me from the horrible nights we used to have. I had been using the Avent bottles because they attatched to my breast pump, but they let so much air in- even the diposable bags let in too much air. The Dr. Browns bottles do leak once in a while, but it's something I'm willing to overlook because of the fact that they let NO air in! They are also a pain to clean, but again, I'm willing to overlook that because of the wonders these bottles have done for my family. I wold recommend these to everyone, because all babies have underdeveloped digestive systems and could use the help. I just bought them for my sister who is 5 mo. pregnant!Customer Review: I give it 10 Stars, this bottle is AMAZING!

I was using regular Gerber bottles because at first everyone told me to get the Avent bottles...they all swore by them, that they were the best. Then I started feeding my baby using those bottles and it seemed like more formula ended up on her clothes than it did her tummy. Anyway the Gerber bottles did just fine for me because they didnt leak everywhere BUT my baby would get soo much gas from the bottle, you can see everytime she would stop sucking all the air bubbles would form in the bottle and she would suck it in and she would get so much painful gas. Then my sister-n-law gave me one of these bottles to try out and OH MY GOD I dont even have to burp her...I always try to but nothing comes out anymore, she is such a happier baby now with these new bottles. They may be a little more pricer and a little more cleaning into it but its so worth it, especially for my baby!!! Thank god for this little invention!! I Highly recommend this bottle to every mother....Im throwing away all my other bottles and buying all Dr Brown bottles from now on...there the BEST!! My sister used the Avent bottles for my niece and liked them, so I bought tons of these bottles (big mistake!). From the time my baby switched from breastfeeding to bottlefeeding, feeding was awful! She would gush milk from the sides of her mouth and spit up so much that it seemed she was wasting more milk than she was getting. I finally bought the Dr. Brown's bottles and it was an instant improvement! No more leaking and gushing milk. I thought maybe it was just because she was young and used to breastfeeding, and when she started eating more than 4 oz I thought I could switch her back to the Avent bottles (that I have a cabinet full of!). I think I'll just have to give up on the Avents and cut my losses, she is now 10 wks old and still hates the Avents. She cannot latch onto the nipple and just keeps fussing and spitting it out of her mouth. So I bought the wide-neck 8oz Dr. Browns and actually she still doesn't like these (though it's better than the Avents). I think she likes the small nipple of the standard Dr. Browns so I will have to buy some of the 8 oz standard now.Customer Review: The best investment.

I'm not sure, why some of the reviews are less then 5 stars. I have a 4 & 1/2 month old, and I've been using Dr. Browns Bottles for the last 2 months. There is no greater thing. I disagree about cleaning, because it takes only few minutes longer then any other ones, but why would any one even worry about cleaning, knowing that your baby is happy. To the question if it reduces gas, the answer is yes. My baby was breast fed, the first few days, but before we left the hospital he was taken off breast milk for 24 hours, and never went back on it. All formulas were giving him extremely bad gas and that caused colic. Even his Pediatrician didn't know what else to give him. He was already taking the anti-gas drops, and eating anti-colicky formula. Once I tried one of the Dr. Browns Bottles, I stop giving him anti-gas drops, and he is very happy. Another great thing about those bottles they have the softest silicon nipples, that prevents spit-ups. I use both sizes. And of course, YOU CAN NOT go above the line, because it will leak. So if you need to feed more then 4oz, use the 8oz. bottle.
