Customer Review: Efficient Purchase for new moms
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought these on a recommendation from a Nurse in a child birthing class my husband and I went to. I am so happy we have them! It does exactly what it says... at least in my experience it does. My daughter burps easily, and sometimes not at all (without any negative effects)... her spit up is minimized by the bottles and she does have colic. So, anything that reduces the bubbles in her digestive tract are good in my book.

I would recommend these to anyone looking to buy bottles for their newborn. My daughter was small for her age, and at 6 weeks old we are still getting use out of them at 4oz. :)

Customer Review: Wonderful
Summary: 5 Stars

We have a baby with reflux and these bottles work wonderfully with him. Granted, there are a few extra parts to clean, but they are well worth it. We have not had the leaking problems that we have had with the Avent bottles and they can be warmed in a bottle warmer, unlike the VentAire. Also, the tall narrow bottles can attach directly to a Medela or Ameda breastpump. We have used both the tall narrow and short wide bottles with success.

Customer Review: Works like a charm!
Summary: 5 Stars

My grandson has acid reflux and we decided to try the Dr Brown bottles because of the reviews. These bottles are a little bit of a chore to clean but it is worth it. My grandson does not have near the air or bubbles when we use Dr Browns bottles. We have tried several different brands of bottles and these work for us. We are very pleased with the results. The burping and air bubbles are very minimal or not at all. Everyone must try them.

Customer Review: Love them!

A friend recommended these to me when I was pregnant, and I've never used any other bottle. I love these, and they really work to keep the air out for less spitting up.

Customer Review: too bad they leak
Summary: 2 Stars

I bought Dr. Brown's bottles when my premature daughter's digestive system started acting up. I've been using them for about six weeks now and I haven't really noticed a change in the amount of gas she has. She seems to be comfortable with the size and shape of the nipple -- although I had bought her the preemie-sized nipples, and they were so hard for her to suck that I had to go all the way to a stage 2 nipple. Why make a preemie nipple with such a small hole when preemies have a weaker suck? My biggest problem with the Dr. Brown's bottles is leakage. They leak horribly if you have to transport them, like in a diaper or insulated bag. Just recently they have started leaking during feedings -- even after I had taken apart the bottle to double-check that all the parts were put together properly. I have just bought the Playtex VentAir bottles today -- hopefully they work out better for us.
