Baby Products Reviews of Dr. Brown's 3 Pack BPA Free Polypropylene Bottle, 8 ozCustomer Review: Great bottle! Summary: 4 Stars
My son is breastfed and bottlefed. He is currently 7 weeks old now and doesn't have much problem switching from breast to bottle. However we originally tried Avent bottles and found it took him longer to latch to their nipple. And we had trouble with the bottles leaking. We decided to try the Dr. Browns, natural flow, level 1 bottle and right away our son latched on easily to the smaller nipple. We noticed less spit-up and less gas also with these bottles. Once in awhile, since the neck of the nipple is narrower, if it goes in too far baby gags, but it hasn't been too much of a problem. The only negative is there are too many parts to wash, but I think it's a small price to pay for a more content baby.
Customer Review: Best bottles ever Summary: 5 Stars
My breastfed daughter, who got the disposable liner bottles, had the worst gas and was extremely fussy. When I got pregnant again, I decided I had heard such great things about Dr. Brown's bottles that I would give them a try. I LOVE them. My son is the happiest baby, and is never fussy. These bottles will not eliminate spit up completely--all babies spit up, and it is the worst at about 4 months of age--but I believe they have helped. I don't trust myself with the glass bottles, so I chose these and they're perfect. My son's daycare will provide free formula, but they use their own walmart-brand bottles--I'd rather pay for formula (and we know how expensive it is!) and use these bottles.
Customer Review: ONLY buy these if you have to! Summary: 3 Stars
My daughter had really bad acid reflux when she was born. These were the ONLY bottles she wouldn't violently spit up afterwards because of the air vents which is great! But now that she's 13 months old the acid refulx is LONG gone and these bottles are just more of a pain then anything. I find myself trying to use the same bottle (rinsing every time) for a few days so I don't have to clean these! They are such a pain! There are 5 pieces with little holes and vents you HAVE to clean or it gets yucky. I hate hate cleaning these. So these are great if your baby has acid reflux or colic but if not, don't buy these. The cleaning is such a pain and I do not plan on using these with our new baby.
Customer Review: Perfect Bottle Summary: 5 Stars
For my first child I did a ton of research on baby products in hopes to get the "perfect" items. I did not want to double up on things and spend my money unwisely. I have to say I was happy with all of the things I purchased, but particularly Dr. Brown's bottles. These are new to me, however, being BPA free which wasn't available with my first child. They look exactly the same as my other bottles and I'm positive they will work out great--and they are BPA free which makes me very happy. The price was cheaper than the ones I found in the stores so I was excited about that. They are more pricey than most other bottles, but the results are awesome. I highly recommend this product.
Customer Review: Best bottles ever! Summary: 5 Stars
My little on is almost 2 years old now. at the beginning, I tried Gerger bottles, then Playtex Vent Air, nothing seemed to work. I had read some reviews for Dr. Browns that were very good for relieving colic but the isue was the different pieces that need to be washed. I decided to give a try on Dr Brown. It has been the BEST option. The thing that you need to clean more pieces is true but it is worth it looking at your baby taking the bottle easily and with no gasses. Niples are soft and confortable. My baby still loves them. Actually, Im going to buy the new set BPA free. Excellent. Do not waste time looking around. This is not publicity, I tried them and they are the best bottles.
