My husband and I love this set for our soon-to-be-born little girl! It is soft and cuddly and made of great material. The colors are vibrant without hurting your eyes. And it is feminine without being over-the-top frilly. We have a 2 year old son who also seems to think the set is appealing. He loves pointing at it, naming the characters, etc... We didn't order any of the accessories simply because I'm not want who wants to walk into a 'themed' room. We have painted the room a sage green (it matches the sage in the comforter) and I'm looking for curtains now. While I think the valences are cute, they won't keep out sunlight. I may break down and order the wall hangings simply because they seem like they would go well without being over the top. In terms of the other things, though, we did fine with our first child without the diaper stacker, laundry hamper, etc...because we simply used a drawer in the dresser and did a changing table attachment on top.
