Unfortunately, Diaper Dekor has missed the mark with the biodegradable bag refills. I know that I'm not the first person to give this product horrible reviews, so I wonder how long it will take Diaper Dekor to smell the dirty diapers?? The Diaper Dekor system is one of the best systems on the market but these bags just don't keep the smell at bay at all! I was hoping to use this system with my second kid, but I don't think that we will be able to because I just can't get the stink out of the can! I hope that Diaper Dekor reads these reviews and finds a way to fix their flaws! The other refills were just fine, why ruin a good thing? The diapers that we are putting in the can aren't going to go away any faster because we're using a biodegradable liner?! Please fix this stinky problem!!Customer Review: Easy to Use

I enjoy using the Diaper Dekor system -- it's so easy to refill and simple to use. Yes, these bags are "biodegradable" but most diapers aren't. But at least you're throwing something biodegradable into the landfill, instead of a regular plastic bag! One less plastic bag could help...
A note to those who throw away poopy diapers in the diaper pail -- DON'T! I remember reading this advice when my son was a newborn, and he's 1 and 1/2 now... we've never thrown a poopy diaper in the diaper pail, and his room has NEVER smelled. We always wrap the poopy ones in a plastic shopping bag (I know, not biodegradable) and throw out with the regular trash. We can keep the diaper pail smell-free for a couple of weeks this way.

I have twin girls who are nearly 6 month old now and we have been using the dekor system since we got home from the hospital. I don't know why people are annoyed at the system. It works real well for us. We are in CA so even now when the weather is hot it does not stink up the room. The refills last a rather long time and I am really happy with it. If they do the BIG one in the diaper a few times a day then I change the liner at the end of the day so that the room does not stink. Beside that I think the system is great and I am really happy that I got it. I LOVED the Diaper Dekor system until these new bags came out. I'm an avid recycler, I use reusable shopping bags, I'm all for saving the earth. But, diapers don't degrade, so why does it matter if the bag that holds them does? These new bags do not hold in the stench. One dirty diaper causes the whole bin to smell. The old bags kept things nice and clean and the only time I had any problems with smell was when I would empty the container and open up the bin door on the front. Now, the whole room smells and I loathe using this container. I'm so annoyed I purchased this system. I'll be looking into the Diaper Genies etc.Customer Review: Just as good

I bought these when we ran out of the bags that came with the Dekor Plus. I was hesitant to buy the Biodegradable ones based on the reviews but I thought I would give them a try in an effort to become more green. After I recieved them I installed them and used them as normal. And I must say that I haven't noticed any difference between these and the non-Biodegradable ones. We use them the same amount, with the same amount of diapers and take out the bag once a week. I will continue to buy these because I like that I am being green and the fact that they don't affect the smell of my daughters room :)
