Customer Review: Provides suitable angle...but....

The picture of the product is deceptive as when you get the product, it is actually two pieces of foam and you need to insert one piece into the waterproof cover. We have a Da Vinci Emily 4 in 1 convertible crib, and when I tucked this wedge under the bottom sheet of the crib mattress as instructed, there were gaps on each side. As it is not advised to have a gap, I have decided to place this wedge under the mattress itself, and the mattress is now gently inclined. I am not sure if this is really 30 degrees, so I will compare with how my son is positioned at the NICU. I am hoping that this is a better and safer way to use this product. I intend to update this review once my son is discharged from the NICU.Customer Review: Great product, but can get much cheaper somewhere else

I have had this for my 2 year old since he went into his crib at 5 months old. He had reflux as a baby and it worked well for that. It is also great to use when he is congested. In fact, I just keep it under his crib mattress all the time now.
I am on Amazon looking for another one for my 4 month old. Only negative thing I can say is that the company that is selling it through Amazon is crazy to try and charge $39.99 for this product. I got the one for my 2 year old at Babies R Us for $14.99 and they currently carry it for $16.99.
Great product, but you can get it much cheaper at Babies R Us! Also, as much as I like it, it is definitely not worth almost $40!

I purchased this for my son and loved it. This model when I purchased it came in two pieces which you insert into the cover which is waterproof. Mine had no zippers, just a hole on the back to allow for the pieces to slide into. I used it with my first son from birth and he slept great. I also used half of it in our bassinet under the sheet with positioners ont he side to prevent rolling and he rarely spit up or had problems digestive problems while sleeping. I thought my son had outgrown it and gave it to a relative, but I'm buying two more, one for my son, and the other for our second baby due this July.Customer Review: Perfect!

I am curious as to what problems other reviewers are having with thier zippers. Yes there is a zipper (in the middle of the bottom part- so you can take the cushions in and out); however I had no problem zipping it up and since it is on the bottom of the product it touches nothing but the mattress.
I am very pleased with SafeLift. It gives that perfect 30 degree angle to which a baby should be laid at and makes me feel much safer. It fits nicely beneath the sheet and does not slide around due to having slide resistant bottom.

My son has acid reflux and cant be flat on his back for anything or he spits up a lot. I had gotten this when my son was 2 months old and from the first night he didnt wake up every hour from spitting up. He still can not sleep on his back (horrible I know) but he does sleep for 8 to 10 hours at night because he is in a position he is comfortable with. It has saved his sleep and mine.
It also just came in one piece out of the box no zippers or buttons or 2 pieces like other reviews say.
