Customer Review: Slept through the night since day one of using this.......

I took away a star only because the wedge isn't lifted enough. Likely my fault it lists the description but my pediatrician said my 4 month old needs to be at a 45 degree angle, this one is about 30. She appears to be doing fine with that. It fits perfectly under her crib sheet. I have no idea what the issue is that everyone is talking about with regards to the zipper. No problems here. It fits the exact width of her crib so there's no worry about her rolling off the crib wedge. Here's a couple of things that I had to do:
1) The crib sheet tends to loosen with my baby in her crib. So I invested in fitted sheet holders that clamp the corners together so they do come loose. Easy to find at any target or here on Amazon.
2) My baby wiggles around like crazy! There's no strap to keep her in place so I did what the nurses did at the hospital during her stay: take a towel and roll it up. Make it into a big 'U' and put it right where she sleeps. She sleeps in the wedge, right in the middle of the 'U' Shape! Prevents her from rolling from side to side or sliding off the wedge. It's way less expensive than paying $80++ for the other ones online.

This product has been a sleep savior for my husband, me, and baby. She had reflux from about 1 month old, so could never sleep flat on her back without spitting up within 10 min of being put down. She would wake up crying because of it and could not go back to sleep. We tried putting her on her tummy, which worked, but we were so afraid of SIDS that we knew we had to figure something else out.
We paired this product with a first years air flow sleep positioner so that she would not slide. By itself, she would slide down and still wake up. It was awesome!! She started sleeping through the night and began napping very well (at home and at daycare). She went from sleeping 10 hours a day to 15-16 hours a day since she was not being interrupted by waking up with spit up all the time. It also really helped when she got her first cold, because the angle helped her to breathe.

We were skeptical about purchsaing this product due to the negative reviews...but so far have been very pleased. When adding the second wedge we were very careful and have had no issues with seams or zippers. Our baby has reflux and would spit up all over when flat on her back- this has helped her not spit up as much (and be much more comfortable). While that was our main purpose, it has other uses that are great- such as when our baby is stuffy (cold) this product has helped her to breathe easier and is a great way to do tummy time. The only draw back was that she would slide down it- but that was an easy fix (we rolled up small towels and placed them next to her to prevent her from sliding). I wish we would have purchased the product way before we did.Customer Review: My baby's best night's sleep!

This is a one-piece wedge that is ready to use right out of the box. There is no assembly, buttons, zippers, or anything else a couple of people have mentioned. Our baby girl would only sleep in her bouncy seat, which we had to place on the floor by my side of the bed. She absolutely would not sleep for more than five minutes laying flat on her back in her crib. After reading all the horrible reviews on the expensive incline sleep positioners, which lay completely flat because it doesn't support a baby's weight, we gave the Safe Lift Deluxe Crib Wedge a try. I bought this from Toys R Us and she slept through the night in her nursery. In fact, she's napping in it now! I really like the Safe Lift Deluxe. I bought it for both of my daughters. It is great at helping to reduce reflux because it keeps them elevated...that is until they start to move a lot. Once they start wiggling around, they slide down the lift in a matter of minutes. However, I still use them. My 2 year old still has one in her crib...it is her pillow. My 4 month old has one in her crib and one in her pack-n-play. The only thing I don't like about this new version is that you have to insert the foam lift into the cover. The zipper on the cover is not very strong and if you don't insert the lift just right, the zipper will tear away from the cover. The first 2 that I bought came inside the cover without a zipper.
