I bougth the Pottery Barn Camp bedroom for my 3 year old son and I needed an affordable rail while he gets used to the big bed. No major problem to install , has a good quality and it fits perfectly my 13 inches mattress.
I agree with other reviews that the assemble instructions are not the best, but if you have some common sense you will not have problem to install it.It is important to mention that only one can fit the bed so you need to put the otherside of the bed against the wall
So far I am very pleased.

This product is perfect for bunk beds, or platform beds. With the new "bunkie boards" instead of box springs, we needed something that fit down along-side of the side rails. These rails have raised hinges so they fit down in between the matress and side rails perfectly while still allowing us access to the top bed by folding down. The rails seem to be really sturdy - made of metal, not plastic - and haven't bent at all, though my kids lean on them/against them/etc. Would highly recommend this product to others with small children.Customer Review: Dex Product Review

I ordered the rails for my bed, I have a 8 year old dashund that broke her back and she is not allowed to jump. We have put 3 rails around the bed and she can not jump off the bed now. They are strong and durable, they whole up to a dashund who want her way all the time. I so glad you made these rail. I had be sleeping in the floor with her for 4 weeks, before I found these rail. Others just would do the job these have done. Thanks So Much for this product.

This rail is good, certified by the JPMA, easy to assemble. Worked with box springs and 10" futon mattress. My only complaint so far is that (1) The rail is not easy to fold down - I have long arms, but you have to "unlock" the rail at each end at the same time, so it's not very easy and (2) the rail does NOT lay flat against the bed once it's down. So the bed looks like it has wings. That's really annoying, as you tend to walk into in a lot. Other than that, it's fine.Customer Review: awesome - stays in place and does the job!!!

These are the best bed rails out there. We have used them for three years, secured between a queen mattress and boxspring. It stays in place and never moves. It is not too difficult to put in place and there is no room for a child to fall between the mattress and rail, if installed correctly. When in place, it folds down more than 90 degrees to make it easy to change the sheets. We are buying two more for each side of a twin bed now!!!!!
