this was a great purchase for our bunk beds. It works great on the lower bunk, the folding hinges in the middle works really well. Leaves plenty of room to get in and out of the bed when it is up. Assembly was easy, read the directions but don't follow them, common sense works better then the directions. Very sturdy, good investment.
