I'm quite pleased with this warmer. We bought three of them: one for upstairs, one for downstairs, and one for the car. We've had them for 18 months now, and we're quite pleased with them. We only use them in the cold months, when the coldness of unwarmed wipes seems to make my son dread diaper changes. And I can tell a marked difference in his emotional state surrounding diaper changes when the wipes are warm.
I love that the warmers are small and portable, and I certainly wouldn't buy a bigger one. However, I ended up donating the one I bought for the car. It only heats when the car is running, of course, but I hadn't thought of that when I bought it. The car wipes were never warm when I needed them, so it didn't make sense for us to keep a warmer in the car. It was easier to warm them up by holding them in my hands or blowing on them.
The only negative that I have for the warmer is that it is a little difficult to open with one hand (which is sometimes necessary). However, I think the same design that makes it difficult to open with one hand is the design that keeps the wipes wet and warm. The wipes stay moist without drying out. And the warmer does a good job of keeping the wipes warm. None of the wipes will be hot, but they'll be much warmer than what you can accomplish with your hands. The wipes will get much hotter if you toss a towel or something over the warmer, which I discovered by accident. I'm not comfortable advocating that as a safe thing to do, and I'm sure the manufacturer wouldn't recommend that either. But I figured I'd pass on the information just the same.

This was one of those items that at first I thought was silly and unnecessary. On second look I considered how it might be appreciated from a baby's point of view (more specifically, a baby's hiney!). I know how much I hate a cold toilet seat so with that in mind I said what the heck and got it. It has been a must-have. The few times that I have been caught without it my daughter definitely has not appreciated the cold wipe & she is not generally fussy!! She does not like cold lotion either. Thank goodness I found a lotion warmer -- another seemingly frivolous item until you get into the cold months & realize just how cold lotion feels then.
It does not keep wipes warm when it is not plugged in but I never expected it to. I am not familiar with a product that does that.
The lid broke off after about a years' use (I am not exactly gentle) but I would just put it back on since that is where the heat comes from. Not a big deal. Did I mention I use this as my only wipe warmer so it gets a LOT of use. I add water to keep the wipes wet. That is probably not a reflection on the product but a reflection on the wipe manufacturers. None of them seem wet enough anyway.
Bottom line, I am very pleased with the wipe warmer. It does what is should. I gave it a 4 only because the lid broke off but that was after a LOT of use. I cannot imagine PURPOSELY putting a cold wipe on a baby's hiney. It is something you would never think about-- a wipe being cold. Toilet paper is not cold but wipes definitely a cold just because they are wet. I highly recommend this.

I just bought this yesterday for my six-month-old son. His diaper area was getting red and irritated and his pediatrician said that the combination of wearing a diaper all the time and cold wipes was causing the redness (he's always had sensitive skin). I also bought the everfresh pillows that are used with the Prince Lionheart wipe warmer and use them in the travel size version (they fit perfectly though it doesn't say they're okay to use but I figure it's fine). Using the pillows probably mean I can fit less wipes in it but it's no trouble to refill it! It works great! I simply fill it with wipes from the big refill packs we use and when it comes time for diaper changes they're the perfect warmth. He actually smiles now during his diaper changes! The warm wipes also work great for wiping off sticky fingers and faces with baby food smeared all over! He used to screach when I'd wipe his face after meals but now he doesn't mind at all! The best baby gadget I've bought (and I've bought alot!). I'll definitely be saving it for the next baby and only wish I'd had it when my son was a newborn and screamed during the middle of the night changes!Customer Review: Wonderful Luxury

Although I do consider this a luxury, not a necessity, I love it! We live in an old, drafty house and even though our newborn daughter didn't seem to mind cold wipes, they bothered me. This unit sits on our changing table and works perfectly. The first several wipes are just the right temperature and always moist. I've never had a problem with wipes drying out, overheating or getting cold. I just refill the unit every few days. It does work in the car and it's great on long trips. However, when the unit is unplugged mine cools off rapidly. So, I don't bother to carry it in the diaper bag (but I probably wouldn't even if it did keep them warm). When plugged in with the ac adapter the plug buzzes audibly (transformer? heating element?), but we're used to that. This warmer is absolutely maintenance free (aside from refilling the wipes). Don't waste your time and money on those other units. This one is wonderful.Customer Review: EVERY Mother needs one of these!!!! Best on the market!

I registered for this travel wipe warmer and a regular size wipe warmer when I got pregnant. I received both this warmer and a full size one (of a different brand). THIS WIPE WARMER IS SERIOUSLY THE BEST ON THE MARKET.
We take it with us everywhere we go. It keeps the wipes moist, warm and it is small and compact. The only down fall to this product is that since it is travel size it does not hold a full case of wipes. However, it does hold about 3 to 4 days worth. The thing I love about it is that it does not dry the wipes out like other warmers.
It comes with a car charger and an outlet plug-in so you can virtually take it anywhere with you. We do not even use our regular size wipe warmer because it doesn't compare to this one. I would recommend this particular wipe warmer for any mother. It is an inexpensive but wonderful gift!
