I am aware this bed rail is more for a child but I bought this bed rail for my husband who has Alzheimers and is extremely frail and only 87 pounds. It is made well and my husband can't hurt himself on it because it is made up of fabric and mesh. For his size , it gives him the protection he needs to prevent him from moving/sliding off the bed and I can sleep better because I am more relaxed knowing my husband is safer.Customer Review: Works great with California King platform bed.

I have a california king platform bed and had a hard time finding a rail that works. I set this up with my husband and had a relatively easy time with it. I used it for protecting my baby from falling off. It is sturdy and long enough. I also put pillow around it so my baby can not fall into the slit between the rail and mattress. It is easy to fold down and use and I highly recommend this product.Customer Review: bed rail

It wasn't too hard to put together, but a little bit in getting it to fit accurately. My grand daughter knocked it over. Guess she didn't like sleeping on a bigger bed and wanted to make a statement without saying anything. It is a nice item and large enough, but I have to find a better way for the item to stay on the bed. This does it job in providing that extra support so your child doesn't fall off the bed. Down fall is that once you tighten it on the opposite of the mattress. If you have a little kid that likes to kick, push, pull themselves up with this it will losen over time or that day. I have found that I have to continually tighten it on the other side so she doesn't fall off between the mattress and rail.Customer Review: Stop looking - Buy THIS one.

This guard is very very good and dependable, and secure in its place like a wall, thanks to the under-the-mattress lock that extends and locks at the other side of bed, via a metal disk.
We have had this for over a month now, and I can say that we made the right choice with this one. Assembly took all of ten minutes, and installation another five.
I highly recommend this product.
