We installed this on a King sleigh bed and it has been a week of use. We absolutely love it ! It was easy to set up. Make sure you save the carton it comes in as it has some diagrams that you will find useful during the set up. The assembly slides away neatly along the side of the bed during day and locks upright at night. We have a thick mattress so we used the center rail. Since the rail extends for 48", there is a little room on either side that you may put blankets or cushions, but we feel quite safe leaving our little one sleeping there.Customer Review: Simple to use and durable

It took about 10 minutes to assemble and then 20 minutes to setup with adjusting it to the bed. I did this by myself, but probably could have been faster with two people. Our daughter sleeps in a full size bed and has woken up many times against it.
The bed is slightly raised which worked out well as that allowed the rail to fold down flat and not jut out from the bed.
So far we've had it for ~3 months and it's shown no signs of wear. My daughter has leaned on it while standing in bed and it did not give a little.

I only purchased one of these because I wanted to try it out, despite the reviews. I read the instructions and it only took about 10 minutes to put it together and install it. However, I'm having a difficult time figuring out how to get the rail to lower. I know I'm supposed to pull up on each side at the same time, bit it doesn't do anything except lift the mattress with the bed rail. It's very sturdy, and my 3-year old son likes it. I'm sure once I figure out how to get the rail to fold down, I would rate it 5 stars.Customer Review: works with a frame bed as well

This rail is working great for the twin bed that my not-quite 2 year old is sleeping in. The bed has a wood frame with raised sides and no box springs. I couldn't tell from the product or reviews if it would work with a frame bed, but I took a chance. It works great! Of course I can't fold it down (the bed frame is in the way) and it is a pain to change the bed, but it keeps her safe at night. In fact she loves to sleep with her face shoved up against the mesh so I don't know how we will ever get it off of the bed!Customer Review: Sturdy railing

This bedrailing is sturdy and doesn't move when my very active 23mo-old pushes and pulls on it, so I don't have any complaints. But truthfully if I were to buy another one I'd get a longer one (56") so it doesn't leave so much space at the head/foot of the bed. I now have to wedge pillows there. And I'd get one that flips down for making the bed, or in case an adult needs to get in/out. That nicer model was on backorder so I got this one as my 2nd choice, and I'm sort of sorry that I didn't wait.
