This does it job in providing that extra support so your child doesn't fall off the bed. Down fall is that once you tighten it on the opposite of the mattress. If you have a little kid that likes to kick, push, pull themselves up with this it will losen over time or that day. I have found that I have to continually tighten it on the other side so she doesn't fall off between the mattress and rail. Customer Review: Tough!

We started using this with just a twin mattress on the floor. It has stood up to all sorts of pushing, pulling and rolling over. The rail has remained stable, and I can only imagine that it will be more so as we start to add box spring and the frame.Customer Review: Really like it but...

I only purchased one of these because I wanted to try it out, despite the reviews. I read the instructions and it only took about 10 minutes to put it together and install it. However, I'm having a difficult time figuring out how to get the rail to lower. I know I'm supposed to pull up on each side at the same time, bit it doesn't do anything except lift the mattress with the bed rail. It's very sturdy, and my 3-year old son likes it. I'm sure once I figure out how to get the rail to fold down, I would rate it 5 stars.Customer Review: The Family Bed

We practice the "family bed" and started to use these when our son out-grew his co-sleeper. It works well for what we need it to do. We also take it on trips because it is easy to it to disassemble and reassemble.Customer Review: Easy and Safe - who could ask for more?

I had to replace my last rail because my son had picked the netting apart and left a big hole. This one was easy to assemble and works well without the strap. Would buy again.
