Customer Review: Okay for the money...if you figure out how to put it together.

My mother bought this for my third baby due next week. I have never had a changing table before, but we needed some extra storage space. The finished product looks okay, and is sturdy..but putting that thing together was a TASK!!! I consider myself pretty handy...but the directions were INCOMPLETE, which is the most annoying thing in the world. The holes in the top front bar were not aligned with the crossbar so we had to drill an additional hole to make it fit. I hate the way the boards sit on the side bars...there are no grooves to hold them. Again, it seems pretty sturdy...but the assembly was the worst do-it-yourself experience I've had in years.Customer Review: Great Buy!

I love this changing table. We have the Jenny Lind crib as well. The changing table matches perfectly. The table is great for storage. Our one year old still uses it. I remember reading somewhere that there was a 20 pound weight limit however we have always had more weight on there than that and it has held up great! It's still in perfect condition after one year so we will be able to hand it down to the next baby we have. The only thing I didn't like about the changing table was the thin pad. We bought a thick comfy blue one to put over the thin one. I would highly recommend this changing table especially if you have the other Jenny Lind products.

This is a WONDERFUL changing table!! I see several people who thought it wasn't sturdy, but it is when put together properly!! I put ours together myself and my husband went back over it and tightened all the screws. It's extremely sturdy, looks as nice as the [$$$] model, has lots of shelf space for blankts, burp towels, sheets, wipes . . . basically anything you may want to put on it!!
I did purchase a softer changing pad for it, but just put in on top of the existing one -- with the straps, I have NO concerns that my daughter will be "too active" to put on this table and have NO concerns about her safety or the durability of this product!

We had this changing table when I was babysitting full-time. It was well used. It was very handy, and I used it to store diapers, wipes, toys, etc. It was sturdy enough that when one of the babies started to crawl, it held him when he crawled onto the bottom shelf to get a toy!!! Since I'd had previous back surgery, it was difficult for me to stoop down to change the babies, and this made it so much easier on me, since they were up on my level. The extra storage space kept everything out of the floors and the closets, too. This was definitely a life-saver for me. I handed it down to my niece when she had her baby, and she loves it, too.Customer Review: A great buy!

I received this as a shower gift and it is wonderful. My husband along with everyone else told me it was unnecessary, but we have never changed our son on anything else. We use it ALL the time. I do recommend buying more than a few changing covers though. We are first time parents and my husband didn't know how to change a dirty diaper that well and made a mess all over the table cover, which is stained and ruined now, but we had an extra cover. Sometimes though, we don't put a cover on it. We have the pad on there and just put our son down on it and lay a blanket under him. I don't think its a must, but it is a great thing to have though.
