Customer Review: not sure what others are complaining about
Summary: 5 Stars

I agree with what another reviewer wrote: I'm not sure what people are doing with their changing table that it is falling apart. I've been using this table for months, and have zero complaints about it. Mine is extremely sturdy (and I often lean on it in the middle of the night while waiting for my son to do his "business".) My son loves being on it -- he usually thrashes his arms and legs wildly, yet the table never moves a bit. And as for the people who say that it will be "outgrown" too quickly...huh? This is the biggest changing table I've ever seen, and mine is sturdy enough to hold a good deal of weight. I've never had any trouble with the shelves or screws coming lose (and I have the shelves loaded). If you're really rough on furniture or are really paranoid about your child crashing to the floor, I'd suggest paying $500 for solid oak. But this table gets my recommendation -- it's a great table for a great price.

Customer Review: Quite Surprised!
Summary: 4 Stars

I was very surprised at the size of this table once assembled. It was very simple to put together, I did it by myself in about 45 minutes. Once assembled I had to re-think where I was going to put it because it is much larger and than it looks in the picture. I have even more storage space than I had anticipated. I store extra diaper bags, receiving blankets, and diapers on the bottom shelf. The top shelf holds everything else that I need for my son Devin. When put together right, this is a very sturdy table. I was reluctant to buy it because of the ones that I had seen, even in department stores, were very wobbly. I enjoy using it, and it saves on the back from having to bend over the bed when changing diapers or clothes. I am going to have to find a different use for it when Devin outgrows it, because I would really hate thinking about giving it up.

Customer Review: Beware of this table, especially used! Note Weight Limit!
Summary: 1 Stars

We bought this table used from a pre-owned furniture store. The previous owners must have disregarded the weight limit. The top shelf is held in a routed slot in the bottom of the support bar. There is no metal support of the table! If you put too much weight on the table the wood splits. Ours had slightly split and the previous owners or the store had glued it. We learned this when the top caved in! Fortunately it broke when the CAT jumped up on it.

So, if you buy this table note the weight limit. Our daughter weighted above the limit before her 10th month. Remember that anything else on top (such as pads or wipe warmers) adds to the weight on the table.

We will not buy this model again but get one in the dresser style that has more than a thin piece of wood holding up Junior!

Customer Review: Good Table for a Good Price
Summary: 4 Stars

I didn't see any point in spending $200 on a changing table I could only use for maybe the first year of my sons life. So I opted for this one, which can later be used as a book shelf or for storage. As cheap as you might think this table is, it is surprisingly sturdy and well made. It only took my husband about 30 minutes to put together. The changing pad is great because it is vinyl and very easy to clean up. The shelves are great for holding everything you need - I have storage bins which hold all my items and fit nicely on each shelf. The built in "seat belt" is great for holding my son in place as he is quite the wiggle worm. For anyone who wants to save a little money in the changing table department, I highly recommend this table. It also matches my Delta Natural Oak crib very well.

Customer Review: Great for the 1st year
Summary: 3 Stars

I originally wasn't going to get a changing table, but last minute decided on this one based on look, price and reviews. I have had it for 2 years now. The table is pretty sturdy, but you have to tighten the screws every couple of months. My biggest complaint is the back piece came off and almost impossible to get it back on with all the little spindles. At this point, we have basically given up after glueing it back together. For the price, it is easier to go buy a new one for our second child on the way. The weight restrictions are a little low and I think the company does that to cover their butts. My son is 29 pounds now and climbs up on to the changing table and I have never worried about it. I love the shelves for storage on diapers, wipes, clothes.....
