Customer Review: Good for the price

I think this changer was much harder to put together than it should be. None of the individual slats are marked, and the written instructions aren't very explicit. After getting almost all the way done we realized that we did not have the screw holes facing the right way and had to re-track a few steps to fix our mistake. This easily could have been avoided with better instructions. The pad that is included is also pretty cheap and arrived with a cut in the waterproof fabric that protects it, but I plan on relacing it with a nicer contoured changing pad. Also, the pieces of laminate cardboard that make the shelf bottoms sit above the wood that holds them in which allows you to see the cardboard sides of the shelf. I only think it's noticeable to me since I put it together, but I wish they would have laminated the edges or made it fit into the wooden part so you wouldn't notice the small edge of cardboard. Overall, we still really like this changer for the price. I really wanted something that was open in the bottom but also had a shelf for smaller items, and this fit the bill perfectly, and I am pleased with the ease of opening and closing the drawer. It also perfectly matches our other espresso furniture from a different brand.
