I recieved this warmer as a Christmas gift when my daughter was a month old. I think its great!! I haven't had trouble with the wipes getting dry....but for those who have, please note the owners manual which says to add some water to keep the wipes from getting dry. No, the wipes don't stay warm for long but the idea of this product is to take the chill off the wipes, not make them hot. I don't have any complaints with this product and I have recommended it to seveal of my friends. I feel it is a definite must have!Customer Review: Doesn't burn or dry out wipes

After reading various reviews and feeling like all the of 'warmers' must dry out or burn wipes, I settled for the fact that it would happen to me and just bought one. Luckily, after 11 months I have had no problem with wipes drying out or burning to the bottom. I would, however, state that the lid does not stay on, but I have found it fairly easy to put back with one hand, now that I know the right side is the side that comes unhinged, and that is well worth it to avoid a crying screaming baby during diaper changing.Customer Review: OK, but...

After not using a wipe warmer for the first couple of weeks and getting to listen to the blood curdling scream emitted every time the too-cold wipe hit the infant's bottom, I now consider this thing a "must have."
That being said, the top on this puppy is NOT designed well. It often will not close all the way resulting in crispy wipes and it is attached to the warmer body by two miniscule plastic pips that break easily, rendering the whole thing a lot harder to use.

I was very excited to use this product, however was rather disappointed. While the warmer keeps the wipes warm and they don't dry out too bad, the pop-up lid kept falling off. While changing my son I opened the unit from the main opening and the pop-up lid fell off breaking one of the plastic hooks which could not be repaired. Target happily replaced the unit, but when this happend for the second time I opted to look for another model. This warmer is a must have. It stops most of the squirming and fighting over changes(once your child gets past the newborn stage). The wipes are nice and warm, but not shockingly hot. I would suggest adding the 1/2 cup of water to the container if you live in a dry climate. I like this model because it does NOT have a built in night light (eventually the light will become attractive to toddlers). It also works very well with any type of wipe, pop-ups and singles. I wish they had portable ones.
