I have to disagree with the ones who write about how their babies slide down the incline. Of course they will slide down, it is called Gravity!! My son, who is now 13 months, had VERY bad GERD, and our pediatrician always asks about and makes sure that he sleeps on an incline. This wedge has helped tremendously. Sure, I used to (and still do) find him sliding down from the wedge and ends up at the bottom of it by the end of the night, the important thing to remember is that, babies DO move around a lot at night, and no matter what they sleep on, they will move and end up somewhere else in the crib. This wedge helps keeps their heads elevated MOST of the time at night, and I can attest to the fact that, ANY amount of time that the upper parts of the body of babies with GERD can be elevated, especially the first 30 minutes after eating, is critically important, and this wedge sure does its job very well. I thought the crib wedge was great. It may not have enough of an incline if you are looking for something for acid reflux in the crib but I was great for breast feeding my acid reflux baby. We use it while laying down to nurse. I did end up using the wedge underneath the baby's mattress in the crib when she got her first cold. It helped with the draining in her nasal passages while she slept and she seemed more comfortable.Customer Review: ?

My son had major stomach problems when he was first born, we found out later that he was allergic to his formula. During that time period he developed a problem with sleeping on his back and got the sensation that he was falling you could see it in his reactions when you layed him down. He would throw up if you put him on his stomach so even that was not an option. Finally we had to put him in his swing and he would sleep for hours in there. Once we found out he was having an allergic reaction he started sleeping 8hrs straight at night in the swing. We knew he would outgrow the swing and once he did around 5 months he still had to be propt up to sleep so he was put in his infant carrier in his crib to sleep, straps were taken out. We also knew that would last long either. Once I found about the incline sleeper I bought it immediately. We thought we would have a terrible time converting him over, he proved us wrong. He loves to sleep on it, of course we might find him off of it at some point while he sleeping but he always ends up back on it. We are now dealing with his first cold since we bought it and it has been wonderful, he sleeps right through the night. I tell everyone about this and how it has made life easier for us, I just wish we had known about it sooner.
