A friend of mine recommended getting a wedge pillow ("it's the best $10 you'll ever spend!") when I told her my back was hurting after sleeping - she was SO right! I'd recommend this pillow to anyone sporting "baby belly". It's also great for sitting in straight-back chairs, I just prop it behind my back and am so much more comfortable!Customer Review: Defeats Its Purpose

I'm 7 months pregnant and bought this pillow a few weeks ago. I couldn't sleep at all. It's small, hard, and the wedge does nothing for me (I'm just under 5 feet tall so it's small for a petite person...not good). I just use a regular, soft, standard pillow for my mid-section, and I sleep through the night easily.Customer Review: Too hard!

I had a wedge pillow similar to this one my previous pregnancy that was perfect, but lost it along the years. I thought this was the same but it's not- I simply cannot stand using it, it's so hard it actually hurts my belly. I am not completely satisfied with the wedge, but I think it is mainly due to the fact that I am a large person, and it isn't quite big enough for me, personally. If you are a small person, it would probably work great. I use it behind my back mainly...it doesn't seem to work great when I use it under my belly.Customer Review: Don't let the big box fool you

If you are expecting the answer to those sleeping problems and strains on the stomach, forget it! Whilst being tolerably comfortable and firm, it is tiny and would be more appropriate for laying one of those 'outie' belly buttons on. So when a pillow sized box comes in the mail don't get your hopes up.
