the item is not a sleeve like fit that you slide on to the glass. It has no bottom, so it is held in place by the tape provided that goes on the sides and top. The tape held for about two days with the kids messing with the pieces and then they came off and the tape was pretty much useless at that point. I took another reviewer's advice and superglued the rubber to the corners of the table and that has so far worked, even with the kids messing with them on a regular basis. The item itself does the job when it stays on and it is a clear color with a blue tint.
