Customer Review: Very nice seat, subdued colors.

The color is a soothing gray and white gingham, and the almost black and white contrast on the toys is attractive to my twins who have tried to bat at them since about 6-7 weeks old. The subdued color doesn't scream baby stuff if you have it in your living room. Makes for a super comfy nap station for your baby in the living room or office or wherever you happen to be around the house.
The leg rest does come up, but that should not be a problem once your child is actually big enough to sit up in the chair, It makes the chair feel secure for now in the up position, while using it as an infant rocker.
The recline three positions are nice to have, and lock in place really well. I had an 8 yr old version from my older son, but bought two more for my twins now to take advantage of the newer 5 pt harness. 5pt harnesses are invaluable once they can sit up by themselves if you use it as a toddler seat.
The other reviewer had said the clasps are difficult, but they are just secure, I have not had any difficulty fastening them, and its nice that the seat clasp is protected by a cloth flap. A busy fingered toddler can't undo it by themselves and get hurt if you turn away momentarily.
The bouncy seats from fisher price, zooper etc don't last longer than a few months, but I used this chair for over 2 years as a seat for my son. The rocking motion is set off by any slight movement, acting as a self soothing
motion. I don't use the vibration feature on this, but notice that it has moved to the actual seat from the frame on the older version, so should be more effective.
Its pretty simple to take the seat off the frame when you need to wash it up after spit ups etc. One of my twins has reflux, so this is his primary nap place along with a graco swing during the day time, so that he has a gentle incline to reduce acid washing up at his throat.
