Baby Products Reviews of Combi 3-in-1 Hero: High Chair, Booster, Toddler Seat in ChiliCustomer Review: Look Someplace Else For A Good High Chair Summary: 1 Stars
We liked the idea of the convertible chair - and the design is stylish and appears functional. But we've found looks are deceiving.
--Stiff Restraints--
As others have noted, the restraints have horribly strong large clips, and you can easily pinch yourself (or your child) while you're trying to buckle them in. The belts are difficult to adjust and are very stiff, not something that you really want to deal with as you load and unload your child every day.
--Questionable Structural Design--
The legs are a bit springy - not sure that was intentional in the design or not. The non-skid back legs in combination with the give in the adjustable chair-back can cause a pinch point on your child's belly too - be sure not to try to roll the chair using the chair-back but with the handles behind the seat.
--The Tray--
The tray is quite thick, usually requires two hands to attach, has a built in raised fruit pattern on the surface, and does not come apart for easy washing. We've found that the tray requires a fair amount of front clearance to operate, as you need to slide it completely on and off for enough space to load the child.
We had a different chair from Fisher Price with our first child, and it was 1000% times better than this design. If we had to do it over again, we'd return this and get something else.
