My daughter absolutely loves this lady bug light! She wants to hold it and carry it around and says it is beautiful and it is BUT and it is a bit BUT I bought this as a night light for her. I was always under the impression that night lights stayed on ALL night not just 45 mins. We haven't gotten much sleep this week because she wakes up in the middle of the night screaming for it to be turned on. She doesn't get that it turns itself off and to just go back to sleep. I'm really about ready to throw it out the window it has caused so much grief over the last few days that I'm sorry I ever bought it. We have tried putting it in the crib with her but she doesn't want it in there becuase it is to bright close up but if we put it out she can't reach it to turn it back on herself. So this is a great LIGHT but would not buy it if you are looking for a NIGHT LIGHT!!!Customer Review: good

I purchased this item for my 6 year old son--and he loves it! We typically set it in the middle of the floor in his room. Because it is on the floor, the stars are a bit larger and not as clear as when we place it on a dresser, but we get more coverage that way and it still looks great. Although my son really likes the blue and green settings (and they do look really cool), I have to say that I am partial to the amber "glow." I purchased this turtle knowing that it would first be used as a nightlight for my infant. I had no intention of allowing him to play with it until he reached the proper age. So far, it is fabulous. There is something so soothing about the night sky on the ceiling. We take advantage of the different light options according to our needs. The blue is the brightest and is better suited for identifying constellations. The green is calming and our preferred night light option as it is not quite as bright as the blue. The amber is the lightest color and its subtle presence is great when I want some light, but I don't want the baby over stimulated. Despite other's problems, our walls are Tuscan yellow and the amber shows up just fine. My husband is an avid star gazer and I know he will enjoy our baby growing into this toy and learning which constellations are where in the sky. I highly recommend this product for children of all ages.
