Baby Products Reviews of Cloud b Twilight Constellation Night Light, Lady Bug

Customer Review: Great product
Summary: 4 Stars

First, let me say, that I bought this early, as I have a newborn (3 months old), but at some point my daughter will be old enough to sleep in her own room, and as most kids do, she will want a nite-light.
Well, I was skeptical at first, but this thing really does produce a cool looking and relaxing night sky on the ceiling. Say goodbye to those lame, glow-in-the dark stars that you put on the ceiling of your kids' rooms...you know, the ones that never really hold the glow. This thing projects a beautiful sky, and in 3 different colors (although they claim the red is mostly for the nite-light usage).

The quality is really nice, although the buttons for the lights could be designed a bit better...they are hard plastic, whereas a more traditional rubber coating would have been a bit more comfortable.
Pretty much the only reason I didn't give this thing 5 stars, is because it would have been perfect if it had offered a music function, and maybe a bit of movement or twinkle in the stars. Then it would have gotten 5 stars from me hands-down.
But, as it is, it is the BEST nite-light product I have found, and I don't think it is only for young children, as the sky looks cool even to an adult...very relaxing.

Bottom line...this is a no-brainer purchase whether you have kids or not.
BUY IT.

Customer Review: Ladybug Twilight Constellation Night Light
Summary: 5 Stars

First off, I have to start by saying my daughter this product. We recently moved and she has been having trouble going to sleep, only two days after receiving this product she actually began shooing me out of the room at bedtime. It has three light settings, blue, red, and green. My sister studies circadian rhythms and sleep patterns and she told us that blue is actually by far the worst color for a sleeping child, red is the best if they must have light present. This product has an automatic shut off, which I didn't even know about from reading the descriptions/reviews. I went in to check on my little one before I went to bed and it was off. Many people have complained about the light being to weak, but I haven't found that to be true. We keep it on her bed frame right next to her, and from there it projects across the entire room(we do have blackout blinds though, so it is complete darkness), the red is a bit faint if you place it on the floor but the blue and green are clearly visible. I honestly can't think of any serious cons for this product, I have highly recommended it to many of my friends and relatives.

Customer Review: A stationary constellation nightlight
Summary: 4 Stars

I ordered this in an attempt to sooth baby's transition from a bedside bassinett in our bedroom to her crib in her own room. When we first put her in her crib, we decided the room was entirely too dark for her, which led me to order this ladybug for her. For some reason, I assumed that the constellation that the ladybug projects onto the walls/ceiling would gradually rotate but it does not-it is completely stationary. Also, the ladybug turns itself off after a certain period of time (which is good for saving battery life, but bad if baby wakes up screaming because it's too dark in her room). The batteries are dying right now and I have had the ladybug for about a month. I'm not sure if that's what I generally should expect or if the batteries will last longer once I install "quality" batteries of my own.

Overall, I think this ladybug is really cute and love the fact that you can choose which color (red, green, or blue) to have it project. You can also spread the constellation across the entire ceiling and walls if you place her closer to the floor rather than up higher, for example, on a dresser.

Customer Review: Probably the cutest night light ever...
Summary: 4 Stars

We bought the Cloud b Twilight Constellation Lady Bug night light for our little one and I have to say that we're pleased with it. I was kind of surprised that the shell was hard plastic, but that's the result of me not reading through the product description thoroughly enough. The rest of the lady bug is soft plush. The stars are a nice effect at night, although the red setting is only very visible in very dark conditions (the blue and green show up just fine though). The stars (and crescent moon) are stationary and you can make out some constellations in it (a fact pointed out by our 11 year old). It is what it is, a night light that projects stars on the ceiling and walls (seems that some expectations ran a bit higher). The little one really isn't old enough to enjoy it yet, but my wife and I love it and the eleven year old is particularly taken with it (he's asking for his own). If you're looking for a night light with a little more character than something that just plugs into the wall, this is a very cute, functional and relaxing choice.

Customer Review: Best Nighttime Sleep Aid Ever
Summary: 5 Stars

I got this for my daughter when we were having a new baby since they'd be sharing a room and my daughter always kept a light on. This was one of the best kids' purchases I've made in a while. We've had it for almost 2 years now and have only had to change the batteries 3 times and that's with daily use. The stars and moon are bright and the different color options ensure you can find a color that will be bright in any room. Our fave is purple. My daughter usually has to press it once more before falling asleep. It does not play music. The stars don't move. Where are you people getting your info? It's not supposed to. It is the best nightlight ever. It keeps my daughter's attention at bedtime and soothes her. The baby, now a toddler, fell in love with it, so here I am buying our second. My daughter's friend has the turtle at home and since she saw our ladybug has been bugging her mom for one. This is a sure winner with ages baby - 10.
