Our three year-old daughter loves this turtle - she uses it every night and can't seem to live without it. We would buy this again for her - or any other child we know that likes to have a night light in his or her room.
One word of advice - if you need to switch the batteries because the lights start to dim or only start to work only intermittently, don't use Energizer batteries. We use Energizer batteries for many things (and really like them), but in this particular product for some reason, it appears the "stem" on the positive side of the batteries is not long enought to make full contact. We swtiched to another type of batteries based on advice from the manufacturer and it worked like a charm.
