This Sleep Sheep has been great for my newborn niece. Although others may complain that it only has two time options, I've found that the options are efficient and allow for enough time for the child to fall asleep. Otherwise, it is simple to restart. Also, I love that there are 4 different sound options. Most toys only offer one sound option, and this can be annoying for the adults. I am very satisfied with this toy and would highly recommend it to others!

We purchased the Sleep Sheep On the Go just prior to the birth of our first child. And, this has been one of our absolute favorite items! We have it permanently latched to our daughter's car seat, so it goes everywhere she goes. We prefer the "ocean waves" sound, which totally chills her out. When we went shopping, we would have the sheep going, and people would stop us and ask where the wonderful noise was coming from - everyone wanted a sleep sheep that heard it!
We accidentally left the sheep tethered to the bed at my sister's home when we visited over Christmas, so we immediately went and bought a new one as soon as we realized it. We couldn't live without it! We've also given them as gifts to new Mom's, and they've loved it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I got this cute set for my baby shower because I had heard wonderful things about it. The little sheep is very cute, but small in size. The little music adaptor slips in and out of the sheep and sometimes falls out, but that is not what I didn't like about it.
The problem with it is that I can barely hear the sounds. You have only 4 choices and even when I turn the volume up to max, the baby can barely hear it. The sounds get drowned by the baby's kicking and cooing.
It's definitely not worth buying, however, the blanket that cloud b offers might be good as compared to the sheep.
I am thinking of using the sheep myself while doing yoga or something to create a calm environment.

I am a lover of this item. At first i thought it was kind of a wasted purchase since i hadn't had it from birth on, but after the last few days, I realized that the rain sound is great for mimicking "shhh" and also, I turned this on after i layed baby down for a nap and when it shut off, she woke up! So, this really does help keep her asleep! I put it on to 45 mins & she slept great! Wish i would have had this for her first 3 months! Great gift idea, let's face it...having a portable music machine for background noise is genius. No cd player to lug around. The adjustable volume is a great feature & I like that it goes for up to 45 minutes! It's soft & cute, also. I wanted this for my baby's crib, to help soothe her at night when I'm not right there. I liked it because it was small, cute, attached to the side of the crib and has options for the sounds it makes. Plus, it had the womb/mother's heartbeat sound listed as included. This was what made me choose this product, I wanted that option. I had read other reviews stating that it was not included, and I was fool enough to think that they had corrected this in an updated model. Wrong! Nope, I got stream, rain, ocean and whale. Why do I need the sound of a whale over womb sounds?? Does anyone find that sound comforting? or more unsettling? If not for this I would have loved this product...very disappointing...
