The sleep sheep is sooo soft and cute. Nice addition to any nursery decor and not obtrusive to the eye. It's not a miracle but it puts my back to sleep in the middle of the night when she wakes up and I like having it as part of our nap/nightly routine. There is a travel version but I'm not sure I need that since it's really just the size of a stuffed animal which I take with me when my baby has to go to sleep somewhere else. Nice to have the same object for her to look at and listen to so it's easy to fall a lseep in other places. I noticed a lot of people don't like that it doesn't stay on continuously but that isn't a concern for me as she doesn't wake up when it times out.Customer Review: Great product except for major design flaw

The Sleep Sheep is a great product, except for a huge design flaw. The buttons to turn the music on and off are on the back, which makes it difficult to reach them because the animal is meant to be strapped to a surface such as a crib or swing. You have to move it every time you turn the music on or off. **The on-the-go Sleep Sheep has the buttons on the side rather than the back, which is a perfect design. It has the same great features as the regular size but without the design flaw of button-location. It is just a little smaller in size. If you are interested in this product, I highly recommend you buy the on-the-go version to save yourself a great deal of frustration.Customer Review: first christmas present

I got this item for my son's first christmas. We used it every night until he was a one year old. It is hypoallergenic and easy to clean. It needs a 9v battery but it lasts a long time. Some ambient sound systems are very expensive like the ones you see in Brookstone. There are only 4 sounds on this Sleep Sheep compared to something more expensive. There's a difference in that my son can hug and tamper with the buttons as much as he likes and I don't have to worry about him breaking it as opposed to something that's $150. He loves the thing and I'm sure it will be near his side as he grows even older. It's a sentimental stuff toy to him as opposed to a $150 dollar box.Customer Review: Great product!

We received the Sleep Sheep as a gift and our son loves it! We've had it now for at least 6 months and the batteries are still going strong, despite using it for his two daily naps and at bedtime. The lamb itself is very soft and cuddly and our son particularly enjoys the 'rain' sounds. We bring this lamb with us everywhere for the soothing white noise. You can choose between either the 23 minute or 45 minute setting and the volume adjusts via dial. There is a velcro strap so you can affix the lamb to pretty much anything. I'd recommend this sweet nursery addition to anyone expecting a little one...I plan to give it as a shower gift to a friend later this month!Customer Review: Good enough to buy 2!

I had this on my baby registry, and one of my sisters bought it for me. As soon as I opened the box, I loved it! It's soft and cuddly, the volume control is great, and 23 or 45 min works just right for my son, who has used it since the day we brought him home from the hospital to even right now as he naps, a year later!
I was so pleased with it that when I found out I was deploying to Iraq, I bought myself another one to take with me, so I could fall asleep to the same sounds my baby was. Now, it's on my bedside table, and i fall asleep every night to the 'rain' setting, just like he does. I will buy one for everyone of my pregnant friends in the future!
