Baby Products Reviews of Chinese Unbleached Prefold Diaper: Small (up to 15 lbs)Customer Review: go with fleece Summary: 1 Stars
I bought a TON of these for my baby girl. Not knowing what in the heck to get for cloth diapers. They worked OK for the first couple of months. But when she started sleeping more through the night she began getting rashes. She would be sitting in a soaking, sopping wet diaper for hours. The only alternative was to change her multiple times at night. This created a sleepless night for me, as every time I changed her she would fully wake up and need to be rocked, lulled, walked and cradled back to sleep, sometimes taking over an hour.
I finally switched to Pocket diapers with fleece lining and they worked MUCH better. A bigger initial investment but worth it in the long run.
Customer Review: good--but not my favorite--cloth diaper Summary: 4 Stars
I have tried SO many cloth diapers over the past four months since my son was born. This diaper is good overall. It is absorbent and a good size. It fits perfectly inside all of the diaper covers that I have tried (BumGenius, Thirsties, and Bummis). I used only one layer of these diapers when my son was under two months old. As he has grown, I have started doubling up, though, or else he leaks right through. My only gripe is that the diapers pill quickly. They are still soft, but the pilling issue is a bit annoying, especially for how expensive these are. My favorite cloth diaper is still the Chinese Prefold Diaper by All Together Diaper. I usually get them through [...].
Customer Review: Great burp rag Summary: 2 Stars
After washing these according to the instructions they do become billowy and soft. However I tried these once or twice and didn't like that the pee stays close to her skin in the cotton. I saw the beginnings of a rash so I switched to an AIO but since I had so many of these I looked for other ways to use them. They're the perfect size for burp rags. I always have 2 or 3 in my diaper bag, 2 on the arm rest of our couch for spills but even with those jobs after you're done cleaning it up you have to get a new one out. It takes a while for the fluids to absorb into the cloth (which is probably why I switched to another kind of diaper). I still like them but not as diapers.
Customer Review: Highly Recommended Summary: 5 Stars
These diapers are by far the most hassle free cloth diaper. They dry quickly and the covers can be reused without a wash if they don't get anything on them. You can also quickly hand wash the cover and hang it up for a few hours to dry. To start, we bought 30 small prefolds and 6 newborn diaper covers. When she got a bit too big for the covers we bough 6 more size small covers. We have not yet had to purchase larger prefolds. I highly recommend these over any type of cloth diaper.
Customer Review: Cloth Diapers Summary: 5 Stars
LOVE THESE DIAPERS!!!! Although I used disposable diapers, I bought these on the suggestion of a friend to be used as burp cloths. Believe me when I say you will find these a million times more absorbent than the cute little burp cloths they sell in the baby stores. And even though my son will be 2 in a couple of weeks, I still use these for when he spills drink, etc. And they clean up great too, no stains after washing them. I would highly recommend.
