Imported Chinese Prefold Diapers are known to be the best in the world, not like the ones found in discount stores. 100% cotton birdseye weave diapers that are soft, durable and highly absorbent. These premium diapers quilt up for superior absorption. 4 X 8 X 4 layering design. Chinese Prefold diapers do not become soft or absorbent until they have been washed and dried. I have these prefold diapers in sizes small and medium also. They are the main component of my diaper stash. They aren't nearly as trim as a disposable or some fitted diapers, but are cheap and easy to use. Since these are unbleached cotton, I have a little routine I do to help them become absorbent and soft. First I boil them for ten minutes in a pot big enough to fit about six diapers at a time in. I then wash them twice with my regular diaper laundry (hot cycle with a pre-wash and an extra rinse). I sometimes add 1/4 cup white vinegar to the pre-wash. I send the washed diapers for a spin in the dryer and hang them up overnight to finish drying. I have had no daytime leaks, no stains, and very minimal pilling. I also have had no problems with detergent residue/mineral buildup or funky smells. Prefold diapers are an environmentally friendly, cost effective way to cloth diaper!
P.S. I use these by themselves if my Little One's bum needs some air, or with a PUL wrap. No diaper rashes to date!
