I had previously purchased this item about 4 years ago. I needed a chair that I could use while visting the in-laws for my toddler (she was definitely over 1yrs old, maybe 18 months?). This was a great purchase as we used it allowed us to feed the toddler while we were also eatting. We didn't have to worry about bulky storage when not in use, and it secured firmly to the kitchen table (which itself has to be a sturdy table). You will need to make sure the adjustable posts are securely tightened; the easy release buttons makes it easy to disassemble. This came up as a shower present for a relative and I knew it would work great as a traveling chair once the baby was a toddler. I bought this travel seat on line, specifically for traveling. However, I found myself utilizing it in our home majority of the time. It is compact, it is a great alternative to a high chair and it allows our 21 month old son to have meals with us at the table rather than seating in a huge high chair that takes half of our dining area, it is easy to install and to remove and to clean. When we get on the road we take the chair with us no matter where we go. It doesn't take any space in our van and it comes with a little carrier bag :)!!! We love this seat!!! Too bad it is only good to use up until our baby is 36 months old.... However, we are enjoying every moment of it!!!! Great product from a great company!!!!Customer Review: Love It!!!

I bought this product due to the fact that there were times that we would go out to eat and there would be no high chair left and also for the fact that it was a lot smaller of a base where the child sits then the wood high chairs that they have in the restraunts. I also like the fact that you dont have to worry about germs. I have been very happy with this product and would recomend it to anyone!! There is a few things that I can say that I dont like about it, you cant take it apart to wash it, you have to hand wash it, also you have to take the arms off every time to fit it in the portable bag and that takes time. Other then that I love it, those are both minor things that are tollerable!!Customer Review: Everyday Use

We use this instead of a standard high chair. I love that it takes up so little space in our little space. Yes, the hippos do get a little messy. They wipe up easily (but I don't go to the trouble of cleaning under them every meal). We had an issue with the one of the handles getting stuck and so it was impossible to take the seat off the table without some brute force. But, Amazon happily replaced it with a new one. We've had the seat for nearly 5 months, and I haven't had to wash it yet. If you wipe it well after each use, it stays pretty clean. Now that our baby is feeding himself more, I think a run through the wash is in our near future.Customer Review: wonderful restaurant chair

We used this with our 5 month old grand daughter at restaurants. Even though she was not fully sitting up on her own, we padded the two sides so she could sit up straight. Now she sits up and this is a perfect replacement for the yukky high chairs you get when going out to eat. We also used it at our breakfast and dining room tables. Excellent invention and I highly recommend it- perfect also for visits to gramas. Wish I'd have had it when my children were youngsters!
