I bought this base for the 22lb max. weight car seat, and this base is great. We had a little trouble installing at first, so that it wouldn't lift at the back, but once we got use to it, it didn't budge at inch. We had the safety of our seat checked and we were given the OK. The seat seems very safe and I would buy it again, although I find it very heavy to carry! When we came out of the hospital, the midwife told us that our car seat was the easiest installation she had ever seen!Customer Review: Good system

I like the Keyfit30 system. One carseat, two bases.
Easy to install. Levels to ensure proper positioning.
Ssecure, positive click when seat locks to base.
Easy to adjust straps and easy release/tension system
Easy to remove from base with one hand.
Highly recommended.
Might have gone with a different system if we had know we were going to need to invest in a double stroller so soon after the first was born.

If you've seen other setups, you'll know this is the one to go with, a lil pricey but is so easy to install that I want to set it up every time taking it out of others hands, "let me do it". Ha ha The design is so versatile and well thought of. It goes from my Jimmy to rental cars in seconds.
The Chicco car seat and base are great for their simple use and peace of mind in safety you wont be disappointed.

We needed a spare base for our other car but put off buying it until we ran into a problem with one of our vehicles. Had we had the other base when my car broke down, my husband, who was watching the baby while I ran errands, could have rescued me. Luckily I was within walking distance to a family member's home. I would recommed a spare base because you never know when there may be an emergency.Customer Review: Great Extra Base

We love our Chicco KeyFIt30 car seat. It is a little heavier than my previous Graco car seats, but well worth it. For us, having an base in both cars is a necessity. I highly recommend spending the $ for the extra base. You won't regret it. It is so easy to just click it in and know your child is safe. Really helpful if you have other kids or you are in a hurry. Love it!
