Description of Camden Rose Small Cherry Wooden Plate, 6.25" dia
Individually crafted in the USA, these hardwood plates start from a solid log block of cherry wood. After each bowl has been cut, it undergoes a drying process for several weeks to prevent cracking and warping. Finished with Three BEEautiful Bees All-Natural Beeswax Polish with certified organic jojoba oil (also sold on Amazon). Handwash with water and a small amount of mild soap and hand dry. Customer Review: beautiful plate to use for many years

When my son started solids I wanted some dishes that weren't plastic. Knowing they were going to get thrown on the ground often anything breakable was out too. This plate is perfect and beautiful! He loves to play with it and it looks beautiful with his food on it. It is easy to clean, though I usually rub some olive oil on it every other washing because it starts seeming a little rough.
6 months later update--
The plates are really beautiful and washing it a few times with stainless steel took away the roughness. But one of the plates has almost split in half already! The other two are fine but are starting to warp. I know this is part of having a plate that is a solid piece of wood, I'm just disappointed. So I changed my review from 5 stars to 2
