Baby Products Reviews of Bummis Super Whisper Wrap: Froggy Pond Small (8-15lbs)Customer Review: super cover Summary: 5 StarsThis is a great diaper cover. Great fit, super cute. I would note though that all in one diapers or diapers with inserts keep baby a lot dryer than prefolds with cover.
Customer Review: Cute diaper Summary: 4 StarsBought it because it was so cute, and was not disappointed. Is a thicker fabric than Thirsties covers and seems to wick a little faster and dry a little slower, but overall a very good cover. My daughter is almost 20 lbs now / around 10th percentile for weight and above the 50th for height, so it (a medium) is a little big in the legs and waist, while her small BSWW are very tight. I have used it with snappied prefolds or fitted diapers and with trifolded prefolds - since it is large on her still, the snappi works best, but typically, as it begins to fit better, trifolding will work just fine. If this diaper holds up anything like my small BSWW, I will be thrilled - the smalls have survived 2 babies now in a relatively small rotation of covers - meaning they were used frequently.
Customer Review: Didn't last over time Summary: 2 StarsThis cover worked fine at first, but after about 6 washes or so, it stopped being waterproof. The wetness of the diaper would gradually seep through the fabric and leave my baby and me damp. After this happened twice, I just threw the thing away. I prefer the Thirsties covers instead. I've washed them dozens of times and they're still going strong.
Customer Review: Leakproof Summary: 4 StarsThis wrap has been great for me! I would give it 4 stars because it seems to be uncomfortable or tight around the legs but I have never had a leak with one. I purchased the newborn and x-small sizes- the newborn worked right up to about 10 lbs but the x-small worked from his newborn weight (~7lbs) and still fits well at 15lbs.
Customer Review: wish they had leg gussets Summary: 4 StarsI love the fabric these a made out of, it seems sturdy yet soft. If that makes any sense. The only problem is that when you have a skinny baby it leaks around the legs. The Thirsties covers have leg gussets that keep more of the leaks in. Maybe they would keep more leaks in on a bigger baby, but not for my little girl. I still use the Bummis but just around the house and not a night.
