Our 11 month old has been using these since she started eating regular, non-pureed foods, and we love them. I just ordered more! The pocket catches most of what she drops, and they are waterproof yet lightweight and breathable, even now in the hot summer months. They are also harder for her to rip off because they have a bigger velcro patch than most bibs. They are also longer than most bibs which is becoming an issue as she is getting bigger. I still like koala baby cloth bibs for cup training - they absorb faster - but these are the best for fruit, veggies, and yogurt, plus many more substances. They are machine washable but I often just rinse in the sink with water and soap if needed, and hang to dry. they dry fast, and this saves me time since right now we only have 3 so I keep using them. As an aside, my baby hated these bibs when she was young - around 6-8 months - but now is happy as a clam. Maybe they were too big before or something? I am recommending these to all my friends!
