Customer Review: Durable, easy-washing, fast-drying bib!

The fabric is thin, but waterproof and durable. It easily replaces Pampers disposable bibs for us. When we use it in a restaurant, I just take it to the bathroom afterwards and wash it with warm water and soap. Then I strap it onto the strap of my diaperbag and it's dry by the time we get home! Or, if the bathroom has an air dryer, it's mostly dry with just one cycle. I fold it in quarters and put it back in the diaper bag - it takes up no room at all.
The pocket was well-designed and stays open, not like the cheap bibs where the width of the pocket equals the width of the bib, and thus is flush against the bib and catches nothing.
The velcro is high quality and I can see it lasting a long time. Having a little girl with long hair, I greatly appreciate the velcro being on the side of the bib. I used to pull hair and velcro hair into the bib when opperating the velcro on our old bibs.
The fabric is not laminate and will not crack. I see this bib lasting us a long, long time. Well worth the extra money.

The "waterproof" treatment is a severe environmental detriment. It's done out of the U.S. but the cut and sew is here so that is how they avoid regulations. The specialness of the material is that it is nonporous and therefore too hot for people. Even vinyl has a more comfortable skin proximity. That's why so many babies and children dislike them - it's just not breathable fabric. But, that's also how the manufacturer distinguishes itself as light-weight waterproof properties. The material was never intended for skin/personal use, but for industrial use. If you have an industrial child this is your product, for all other normal babies, go with something less sinister. If you don't believe me, wear a bib for five minutes and you will break into a sweat underneath. The product fabric doesn't "grab" or "absorb" anything. The size and pocket are attempts at mitigating this material failure. Therefore, you just have a sweatier, unhappier child with more staining food in the lap than other bib-wearing infants and toddlers.Customer Review: These bibs really hold up

I am the mother of three children and have used many different brands of bibs. At first I purchased the "cheap" plastic bibs, but those cracked and split and ripped. When someone finally gave me a Bumkins bib with my first child, I was hooked. They are comfortable for the child and they really hold up well. My third child is now wearing bibs and I have some Bumkins Bibs that are over 4 years old and still holding up! The only down-side to these bibs is that they can get moldy and smelly in the laundry if they sit there wet. So, I normally just wash them in the sink quickly after each meal and hang them up to dry. One thing that is great too is a bib drying rack where you can hang them up to dry next to your sink. There is a mom-invented bib drying rack that is made in the USA. That is the only thing that could make your Bumkins Bibs even more perfect.Customer Review: We approve, we approve, said Thing One and Thing Two!

Product is just as described and works as well as everyone says. It's durable, easy to wash, and the perfect size for my 3-year old toddler. My daughter is a fan of the Cat in the Hat and even though we already have about a half dozen of these types of bibs, we're always packing them up to go out to eat and misplacing them, so I decided we needed more and I found these that were Cat in the Hat themed. My only concern is from the Amazon website, there are two sets of pictures for the same item, and one set is not Cat in the Hat. I took a chance though and I did get the Cat in the Hat bibs. My daughter loves them and so do we. Great price too, considering you get 3 of them and how easy to clean and durable they are. Best deal for your money, for sure! I'm actually considering buying another 3 since just last night I couldn't find any of them again!Customer Review: Hands-down, the best bib out there!

We love these bibs!!! I bought them three years ago with my second son, and they held up well enough to use now with our third son. They clean up easy, air dry quickly, and protect his clothes against food and drinks. I wish I had them with my first son. Besides working exactly as promised, and their easy clean-up, they are so much less bulky than other weatherproof bibs we've used (like those weird rubbery ones). They take up about as much room in the diaper bag as a kleenex, have generous velcro fastener that allows for some of the thinest and chunkiest necks, and after nearly three years of constant use, I've yet to have any wear or tear on them. They may be a little pricier than some cheap drooler bibs at the store, but they are WELL worth the investment. I've bought these bibs for friends because they're so good.
