Customer Review: Good, but not for babies with big thighs

My son has had good head control from an early age, so we just pulled out his Bumbo. He's 2.5 months and I can already tell his chunky thighs won't fit into this for long. It's already close to a tight squeeze. I've heard this complaint before, so it wasn't a complete surprise, but I'm a little disappointed anyway. I was hoping to use this for feeding him when he starts solids, but I don't think there is much chance of him fitting in this to 6 months.
He enjoys it at the moment, which is great, as he doesn't like to sit in any one place for long and he likes to see what is going on. This is great, especially for smaller babies.

I bought the Bumbo Baby Sitter for my 6 month old grandaughter. She loves it. I think it makes her feel like a big person. She can sit up very well in it. She likes to have her meals in it. The Sitter is an easy clean-up. Her parents are very please with the new chair, and so is little Isabella.

Probably a great item for smaller babies. I got this for my son at 4 months old, and it was too small for him and he really disliked the way it made him lean back. I would recommend it for younger, smaller babies.
