I received these for my daughter at my Shower. My daughter loved them just at a couple of weeks old. I hung them on her car seat. It would occupy her for the whole drive. I went out and bought 3 more packages for her and hung them on the stroller, pack and play, and her toys. I had the same problem with the jitter toy. The string broke on 3 out 4, before she was able could pull it. It could be that the adults pulled it much harder than a child and that is how it broke, but either way they did break.

I got these as a shower gift and put them on my son's car seat handle right away. They were the first thing my son ever try to grab and they kept him entertained. He outgrew his infant seat early (long boy) but we have found other places to attached these bugs. We sometimes hook the velcro around his wrist so he has a chew toy he can't drop. They also work well when you go out to eat to hook on the side of the high chair. They are very colorful, have great crinkly wings and wash well. My son loves them.Customer Review: car seat checker

HANDLES I am a car seat checker. These are fun thinks for babies to look at and bat at. However, I infant carrier car seat handle should be down at all times when traveling in the car. If the handle is up if will hamper the safety design of the car seat in a crash. The car seat is supposed to absorb the impact and gently swing up into the back of the seat of the car. If the handle is up the handle will hit the back of the seat in the car and jar the baby. HANDLES Review: my daughter loves these bugsSummary: 5 Stars A friend gave these to me when my daughter was an infant for her car carrier and she loved them. These were the first toys that she swatted and played with. They kept her entertained on the long car trip to visit family back in N.Y. There was hardly a peep out of her. Now that she is out of the carrier I put them on the bar that goes with her walker now she pulls them to her mouth and chews on them. You can also put them on the stroller or a highchair to keep baby entertained.

My five month old daughter loves her "bugs" that we've attached to her car seat. Now that she is beginning to teethe, she jams them into her mouth any chance she gets. The other toys she has may fall out of the car seat, but with these bugs attached to the handle, they aren't going anywhere. Keeps her pretty entertained for our jaunts around town. The only thing that kind of creeps me out is that one of the bugs looks like a giant tick. But maybe that's just me...
