Customer Review: My daughter loves 'em!

We received this as a baby gift from a woman who had a 1 year old nephew. She knew what kids like - we've had a lot of fun with these over our daughter's first year. The best part is that this toy "grows" with your child - for infants, it's great for developing small motor skills (and distracting while in the car!), then it's fun for your child to actually play with them as he/she gets older. As higher dollar items like play gyms and exersaucers are discarded, never to be used again, I appreciate toys that continue to appeal to my daughter.
One hint: put them away for a couple of weeks at a time to keep your child interested.

These are great! My baby girl has loved these since she was just a few weeks old (she's almost 6 months now & still loves them.) At first, I'd place them on the sides of the car seat handle, so they'd catch her peripheral vision. It's been fun seeing her develop & her enjoyment of these little bugs just keeps developing, too. First she just watched them, then she batted at them, now she grabs & pulls & of course, tries to eat them. Only problem is that the jitter toy (the firefly) broke a long time ago, before she even got to the point where she could pull it & enjoy it. We have had these on my 5 month old son's carseat since we brought him home from the hospital. After about a month he noticed they were there and began reaching for them. He loves to get in his carseat because he knows that when we pull the handle, here comes his bugs! They keep him entertained whether we are riding in the car or sitting in a restaurant. He has played with them so much that there is no elastic left in them! We take them off and attach them to his stroller. My sister-in-law loved them so much she bought them for her 4 month old son. My son is just 3 months old. We introduced these as early as 2.5 months and he loved them. We live overseas and travel a lot. These have been a lifesaver while on the airplane. I stick them by the velcro tabs on the back of the airplane seat so he can look at them while in his carseat. Also, they fit nicely on the handle of his infant carrier, which is so nice for him while we are in restaurants, at the mall or really anywhere. Plus, they fit nicely in my diaperbag. I have also attached them to the bottom rung of a diningroom chair (at Grandma's) and let him grab at them. He loves it!Customer Review: Great Toy at Low Cost

My daughter always hated the car. Every time I'd put her in she'd scream until we got where we were going. I looked at every car seat toy available at Babies R Us and finally selected these based on their price and "cuteness" level.
I realy didn't have much hope as nothing ever seemed to distract her in the car. But these really worked! She almost never cries and she is so fascinated by the bugs. A lot of the time she falls asleep with one of them in her fist.
The only drawback I can see is now that she's too big for an infant seat, where will we clip the bugs?
