We got a deal on this product! I knew the brand was known for quality and I researched this item, got great reviews. I am very happy with the extra money spent for the brand. Bought for my then 7 month old son who was not happy in his seat. This seat is great rear facing, reclines for when they are tired or sits nice and upright when they are awake and want to see around and out windows. Latches are so easy to use! Also I like how set up for seatbelt use too. I already had a car seat 'noodle', one of those foamy round pieces that go under a car seat to level it out alittle. I kept and use for this seat too.
Has been easy to clean. Have not washed yet. Material very soft! Bought this creamy tan color in anticipation of our hot AZ summers hoping it would reduce seat heat. So far so good.

Britax Roundabout Convertible Car Seat OnyxThe tan swirl color is best. Very comfortable cushion support all around. It's a couple of inches shorter at the top compared to another Britax model my son has in his car. The only thing that Britax didn't include in this model (which was included in my son's model) are cushion shoulder straps that slide along the shoulder harness. Without the cushion shoulder straps sliders, the straps tend to rub against the child's shoulder causing friction on the child's skin. A great feature in this model which is very helpful are the 2 inches of velcro strips attached to the straps and arm rest to hold in place so its much easier to seat the child.Customer Review: Can't go wrong with Britax

I have owned the Britax Marathon, Cosco Alpha Omega Elite and now the Britax Roundabout in the last 2 years. Even though the Britax carseats cost more they are absolutely worth it! I would rather have one Britax than 2 of the Coscos. With the ease that you can clip them in and out of cars using LATCH you really only need one car seat to move between your rides. Plus, my kids consistently slump forward when falling asleep in the Cosco. They are much more comfortable for longer periods in the Britax seats.
Compared to the Marathon I actually like the Roundabout better. The front belt adjustment button is much more accessible than in my Marathon and the Roundabout is just a little more compact which makes fitting it in the car easier. I love it!

The "tan swirl" color is much nicer in person than the picture. I was concerned that it was too light of a color, but was pleasantly surprised when it arrived. This Britax car seat is very easy to install, very solid, small enough to buckle into a smaller car. The seat belt straps are a bit rough against my son's neck, so I would suggest buying some padding. Overall, as usual, Britax has made an excellent car seat.Customer Review: wish we would have bought this sooner!

we had put off buying a new car seat b/c we were using an older Britax model. But we love this new Britax seat, it is much easier than the older model to snap your child in. My two year old is 30 lbs and 37 inches tall, and she fits in it comfortably . I stuck with Britax b/c of its good safety ratings, and our old Britax held up so well (over 5 years). I think they are definately worth the extra money.
