We have absolutely loved this car seat and would recommend the Britax brand to family and friends. The only negative is that my 3 year old has outgrown it, and he's not ready yet for a traditional booster. We find ourselves wishing that we would have purchased a Marathon because of the higher weight/height capacity. The only reason we didn't is that we were concerned about space while he was little and rear facing, we weren't sure if it would fit in our car. The features that make the Roundabout great (besides safety) are the velcro tabs to hold the shoulder belts in place when putting child in/out, durable and washable cover, secure fit in both vehicle and on child, and ease of installation. It has all worked out well though because our 10 month old will use the Roundabout and we purchased a set of Frontiers for our 3 year old. Just wanted to mention it for those of you looking!Customer Review: Will it fit in my car?

We also chose this seat based on the safety ratings and both friend's and customer reviews. We did find that the requirement to anchor the seat when facing the rear does interfere with our ability to scoot the front passanger seat all the way back in our sedan.
It does work for us.

We got this for our son when he was 7 months old, as he was growing out of the Graco Snugride already. It is a very cozy comfortable seat for him. It fit great in our small cars, a saturn and a neon. I do wish we would have bought one Marathon (we had to get 2 roundabouts for 2 cars) because now we have a Vue. But it works great in the Vue also. He just turned forward facing at 15 months, as he was getting too tall. It's easy to install, very secure, easy to use, love the velcro for the straps. We love this seat and recommend it to our friends. Britax is worth the extra $$, and you can get great deals on Amazon.
