We own two Roundabouts for our 17-months old son. My wife uses one with the anchor system in her car, and I use another in my car with the middle shoulder belt.
Once properly positioned, both restraint systems seem to hold Britax Roundabout seat very securely. My son seems to be quite comfortable in Britax Roundabout and complains only about the choice of music, not the comfort of the seat.
The Bellamy color scheme fits very well with the tan interior of my car, and the materials used in the construction seem to be of high quality.
Overall, this is a quality product and we are quite happy with Britax Roundabout seats. Although, Britax seats are a bit pricier than some others, Amazon's fifty-dollars off promo made this seat a great deal.

I love this seat! It fits my little one very well. The LATCH system is really easy to use and I feel like my child is very safe in this carseat. My one issue with it, however, is the velcro on the straps. It's there so you can stick the straps out of the way when loading your child, and I agree, it's very helpful. But my problem is, the velcro is placed right where my son rests his delicate little arms and he is getting all scratched up from it! It seems like there could have been another way to do this. I'm going to have to cover the velcro with something so he doesn't keep getting scratched arms.
Otherwise, a great product!

Like many others, I searched for many hours looking at car seat reviews. Safety was my #1 concern, comfort for baby a close second, and quality along with fitting well in the car (i.e. not having to move the front seat way forward) third and fourth. I also spoke with co-workers who had purchased car seats to get their feedback. Britax was widely praised by the people I spoke to, and the reviews also led me in the same direction. Overall this particular model matched my criteria best - it has a solid design, high quality components, kids supposedly find it very comfortable, and it fits well in our compact car.
Delivery was prompt and the chair meets expectations and I would recommend it to others. Two pluses that were not clear from the reviews:
* The chair is made in the USA! I am sick of finding "Made in China" in everything we buy and where possible make an effort to buy from either local sources, or at least countries that are not as oppressive as China. It was a very positive surprise to find this chair was made in the USA (albeit with foreign components).
* The box was made in the USA as well, and was very small - just enough to safely cover the chair. I admire such economy of packaging, both from a design and environmental viewpoint.
I highly recommend this chair!

While I hope we never have to find out if the car seat "does its job correctly", I will say that true to word, it's a) very easy to install and b)the harness straps don't tangle due to the nifty velcro attachments. Customer Review: No shoulder pads

We like the roundabout. We used to have a safety 1st, but had an accident, so replaced it with the roundabout. It is much easier to install using the latch, and it fits more snuggly (we can get it more tight against the seat than with the safety 1st). It is much more comfortable for him. We bought it because of the great safety reviews. HOWEVER, there are no shoulder pads over the shoulder straps. My son complains they dig into his neck. I called and asked Britax why they don't have shoulder straps. They said the roundabout just hasn't been tested with shoulder straps, so they can't say for sure if it's safe. Their other models, they said, have shoulder straps. I asked why they haven't been tested, and they said they just haven't (no apparent reason). I asked if it would cut his neck if we were in an accident, and the lady said, "Depends on the kind of accident." I can't see one reason shoulder straps would make it unsafe, but I can see a big reason they would make it more comfortable and safer. They said I could purchase them, but just for shoulder pads is $20 but $10 shipping. Rip off.
