This is a great seat, I highly recommend it. Our son has been using this seat since he grew out of his infant seat at 1. While you can't expect a 16 month old to love a carseat, our son is always comfortable, even on longer car rides. The seat is incredibly convenient to adjust and getting him in and out is easy, especially with the velcro that holds the straps out of the way. It fits comfortably in our Honda CRV, which is a smaller SUV. The seat cover is very easy to clean.
As a side note, I would definitely recommend an infant seat starting out. The ability to take a sleeping baby out of the car in their car seat is a convenience that I missed as soon as our son outgrew his infant seat.

I purchased this car seat when my eight month old daughter started to outgrow her Graco Snug Ride infant seat. I am loving this new seat! It is much easier to install in my car than my Graco (which was fairly easy to use). It is easy to move quickly between cars. The directions are super easy to follow. The fabric is soft and cozy but easy to clean when necessary. My daughter sleeps much more comfortably in her seat when she falls asleep in it. I feel good putting my daughter in this seat because it was rated so high in safety. This seat is totally worth the money!Customer Review: One of the best car seat in market

We got this car seat for our 15 months old daughter and she loves seating in this car seat. The car seat has a nice button for loosening the seat belt...that's very handy. Also, the cloth of the car seat is very good. I am using the anchor and latch system that's coming with the seat and it's easy to install it in the car. This car seat doesn't take much of the space in my Highlander and it has good height support which allows my dauther to see easily outside the window.
Overall I am very happy with this car seat and also with its price on amazon.

I have been using this product for a month now and can see that my daughter really likes to be seated in it. Installation was pretty simple. My husband was able to use the latch connectors supplied with our vehicle (Audi Q7). I would highly recommend this product.
Only problem we faced was when trying to position the car seat rearfacing in the center. Positioning the seat in a straight line was difficult with our vehicle as the seat was getting a little tilted on to one side. Finally we ended up using it Frontfacing on the right side.

I bought my first Brittax after going to Baby's are Us and trying out almost every floor model in my car. This was by far the best and easy to get in and out of my car. The two car seats we have had in our other car have left my knuckles bloody and my temper soaring. I am now ordering another Brittax to replace the one I had to punch repeatedly and then throw into the side of the garage. Bonus is this seat is made by US workers in North Carolina and not in communist China.
