The Roundabout is great. One thing that impressed me (that I was unaware of) is the velcro that holds the arm straps back when you take the child out of the car. It keeps them out of the way for you when you put the child back in. No more digging around looking for the harness parts when strapping him in!! Love it.
It is very easy to move from one car to the other, and the clips that lock the seat belt in place are great.
I highly recommend this car seat. It is worth the extra $$.

We researched the safest model of convertible car seats and according to Consumer Reports, this was it. We are willing to pay whatever it takes to ensure our child's safety, so the hefty price tag of Britax seats is worth it.
This is ridiculously easy to use. Adjusting the straps to accommodate coats, etc. is as simple as pushing a button.
As for comfort, we've been using it for two years and our son hasn't complained once.
If you're going for safety and ease of use, go for this seat!

It is a good car seat and I do recommend it, but I didn't feel it was necessarily superior to some others. Little things like the velcro on the side to hold the belts as the child is being seated shows some thoughtfulness in design, I haven't had any twisting of the belt yet (I've had it for 2 months now), and it's easy to buckle and unbuckle. The good news is that if you land on this product, you don't really need to search further, unless of course you have specific requirements. Good luck.Customer Review: Awesome car seat!!!

I knew I wanted a well-rated, good looking car seat when I was doing research for ours, and wanted something different from the standard Graco and Fisher Prices out there. Britax consistently had great reviews and many awards so we decided to get the Roundabout. This model is more portable for travel since we travel a lot. We haven't traveled overseas with it yet, but we really love it so far. I also have great peace of mind that I have a car seat that exceeds U.S. safety standards.Customer Review: great carseat!

I love this carseat! After struggling for the first 6 months with my Baby Trend all in one car seat(poorly designed strapping system and difficult latch system), the ease of placing my baby in and out of this carseat is a dream come true! Although it is at the lower end of the Britax line, I would definitely rate it a 10! Britax Roundabout Convertible Car Seat Onyx
